5 STAR RISQS AUDIT SUCCESS!
The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the GB rail industry.
L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Limited have been working within the rail industry for over 20 years committed to customer satisfaction and continually “Meeting Hire Demands” within the sector supplying operated, non-operated plant and transport solutions to key projects including Cross Rail and HS2. L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage were one of the first Tier 1 suppliers to achieve the converted 5 Star RISQS Accreditation in 2015 and have continued to achieve 5 Stars in 2016 and again in 2017. This has mainly been achieved by continued hard work, training and continued development of our staff, operators and drivers managed and administered by Liam Moore, David Stubbs and Steve Wright Year on year higher demands and standards are set by the rail industry. All suppliers are vetted and approved via an audit process to ensure that companies wishing to work on the frame work continue to meet the highest standards expected of a TIER 1 supplier.
The purpose of the two day RISQS audit is to evidence to the rail industry that all aspects and activities of the business are carried out safely, efficiently, compliantly and within the guidance set out by government regulators. L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Limited are committed to continually working to ensure we keep the business operating to the highest standards whether it be in the rail or private sector. With the continued hard work and high standard of staff and employees at L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage Ltd I feel we will retain our 5 Star RISQS Accreditation for many years to come and continue to meet our clients “HIRE DEMANDS” From May 2018, significant enhancements, including an easier to use new interface with more functionality, will be added to the RISQS scheme to the benefit of buyers and suppliers.

New Starters @ Lynch Steve Smart Direct Solutions
I join Lynch at an extremely exciting time for direct solutions team, the department has been showing real growth and I look forward to helping take it to the next phase. I have worked in the hire industry for the last 7 years and played part in the development of hire teams for large construction companies, centralising their procurement and consolidating their PSL. Hazel Bignal Purchase Ledger
Coming to Lynch is a complete change for myself as my last position was at Luton Sixth Form College, but so far so good. My biggest passion is rugby, I am a season ticket holder for Saracens and during the season my weekends are taken up with going to games at Allianz Park and when I can any away games. I also really enjoy music and especially going to gigs where my son is playing in his band UnderView. Rachel Fell Finance Team
I studied French and lived in France for a few years after university. When I came back to the UK, I started working for Kodak in a French speaking finance role. I have mainly worked in finance but had a complete career change a year ago when I was headhunted to work for a luxury travel agency because I speak French in more of a sales and product role. However I wanted to get back into a finance role and the account assistant role at t L-Lynch seemed perfect for me. I love music, films and go to the gym regularly . I also play a bit of golf when I have the time. Sean Wood Operated Plant
Sean returns to us for a second spell after leaving us just over 2 years ago, he's spent the last two years working Anglia crane, previous to that he worked for a green waste recycling company, All at the Rushden office agree that the best part about Sean joining the team are his wife's cakes, he does however bring a wealth of knowledge particularly when it comes to operators. Michelle McKenna Office Adminstrator
I have worked in the Recruitment Industry for 5 years which was a good challenge but I decided to have a career change and to join the Plant industry. I have been in the industry for nearly 2 years. In May I was given the opportunity to work for Lynch in the Rushden Depot as an Office Administrator for Transport and Service. In this time, I have learnt a lot and I am really enjoying working with everyone and look forward to continuing my career with Lynch. Baby Malakai Andrew Holloway

3 Brothers, 3 Peaks, 1 Goal What an amazing experience! The Yorkshire 3 Peaks pushed us to our limits in all sorts of weather. It has been brilliant to support those in the construction industry that need it most and have some fun along the way; raising ÂŁ3000.
I would highly recommend doing a Lighthouse Charity Day. Next year we can’t wait to do the London Marathon for the Lighthouse Club.

Mark Pollock Completes our Big Build
In the middle of March 2017, Mark Pollock, a well-known operator for Lynch Plant Hire, was instructed and challenged to help us realise part of our Vision Building Plans regarding our mezzanine floor space at our new offices in Hemel Hempstead. As some of you may know, Mark has spent most of his career at Lynch Plant Hire as a multi-skilled operator travelling the country and operating various types of plant to a highly skilled level. However, most people are unaware of the fact that Mark is also a qualified carpenter and has undertaken many tasks over the years within our company. It must be noted that this has been Mark’s biggest challenge to date during his tenure at Lynch Plant Hire. The project revolved around the main wall of the build which is 23 metres long X 6.5 Metres high and weighs 4.5 ton. During this build we have gone through: 80 bags of plaster, 27,000 dry wall screws, 630 sheets of fireproof plasterboard, 15 doors and 300 metres of skirting. In addition, we have added one kitchen, 5 sinks, 5 toilet cubicles and one shower unit. The list could go on. The whole build required Mark to work very long hours, 7 days a week. The latter was in an effort to get our workshop colleagues into a better environment. During this time, Mark completed 1,615 man hours of work on this project whilst also getting involved in other duties throughout
the business. Furthermore, he also made himself available to go out on hire to operate machines in our hour of need. To help understand the gravity of Mark’s challenge and the work that has been completed, please take the time to view the attached photos which highlight all of Mark’s efforts and hard work. All things considered, we can all agree that the project has been an overriding success story that clearly shows Mark’s talents. We would like to extend our gratitude for Mark’s work and we acknowledge the high standards to which he has completed this project. As a result, Mark was presented with an award for his great work by Liam & Merrill Lynch.
Want to recommend an outstanding colleague? Mark receiving his award from Liam & Merrill
