A striking halo design, a centre Brilliant cut diamond surrounded by small diamonds, gives the centre stone even more visual size and highlights the main stone as well, looks great with a simple diamond set wedding.
An oval cut diamond with brilliant diamonds claw set down each shoulder, still simple but the oval makes it a different look than the more common round stone; there is the option of a Cushion cut diamond which also has the touch of difference. Simple and striking.
The brilliance of this ashing Princess diamond, with soft upswept shoulders, bead set with complimenting 24 small Brilliant cut stones in the shoulders, leading up the centre stone.
The same design as the previous Princess diamond ring, but a complete different look with this Emerald cut diamond, it doesn’t throw the scintillation back at you, but draws your sight into the stone, like drawing you in. A softer choice.

The evergreen solitaire, this one is for the girls that want the little bit wider look, the band has a soft dome and is 3 mm wide, and this white Palladium strong setting is a feature with 8 claws and not the usual 4 or 6, more claws but finer.
The evergreen Trilogy ring, 3 diamonds across the finger has always been popular and never goes out of fashion, we have given this model a bit of a modern touch with the white Palladium sweeping setting as a feature. Also looks good in White and Rose Gold.
Now this has plenty of action, striking emerald cut Radiant diamond, surrounded by 26 small brilliant cuts in the halo setting, finished off with the V shape split shoulders, still takes a straight one or split wedding rings.

The hints started to get dropped as Bridie started to point out rings that she liked in shop fronts and magazines. I would always say that we would buy a house first before getting married. I went in to Blizzards to seek the expertise of Craig and Lyn. I had a pretty good idea of what she liked from what I had been shown but wanted to add my own twist and design in a custom ring. Craig helped interpret my ideas in to the spectacular design that was put before me. I called in the reinforcements, my mother and mother in law to be to see the design then after sneakily asking her to put my rings on her fingers I was able to get the size and order the ring to be made. Before I knew it the ring was ready to be picked up. On a trip that I had planned to travel along the Great Ocean Road visiting waterfalls and going on nature walks, I had the ring on me at all times ready for the opportune time. When visiting the Twelve Apostles we reached the main lookout point just as all other tourists left the platform we were alone, we looked out over the horizon standing behind her with my arms wrapped around her I said how beautiful the scenery was. I pulled the ring out and held it in front of her as I said how beautiful she was and asked her to marry me. Forever the team at Blizzards will be ingrained in my memory with the help and support they provided in this exciting time in both our lives. Bridie loves the ring, whenever friends and family see her ring they say “It’s just so you.” Whenever we visit the store the team offers to clean her ring as we are currently designing both of our wedding bands for the special day. Matt and I had been together five years and made a home together. At the start of 2013 we began planning our Europe holiday, and I was quietly hopeful that a ring may make the journey to Europe with us. Halfway through our trip after a lovely dinner on the shores of Riomaggiore in Cinque Terre, Italy, I turned to see Matt down on one knee. It was without doubt one of the happiest moments of my life. We returned from Europe at the end of October and went to see Craig and the Blizzard team to design a ring together. Having worked at Blizzards, I knew personally how well Craig carefully selected each diamond and personalised each ring to make what’s only a picture in a girl’s mind, a true reality. Being able to have Craig and the team share a part in our engagement made it even more special. The process was effortless from start to finish and Craig produced an incredibly stunning ring that was exactly what I had wanted. We could not be happier! We cannot thank Craig, Lyn and the team at Blizzards enough for the remarkable job that they did and we look forward to returning to choose and design our wedding bands.

The Rules of Engagement The engagement ring is the most important ring a male or a couple will ever purchase. This is the first, most significant symbol of LOVE and intention of a lifelong commitment together. Blizzards have put together some words of advice when that special time is near.
Which one are you? “I have no idea” Propose with a “Will You Marry Me” ring laser engraved across the top. Propose with this ring, she will want to keep it for sentimental reasons, then suggest that you both go into Blizzards and buy or design a ring that you both love, making it that bit more special. This option is becoming a very popular form of proposing.
“I have a bit of an idea” THE VERY THOUGHTFUL MODERN MAN Do you know the shape of diamond she likes? Why not propose with a diamond? If you know what shape of diamond she loves, Blizzards can source that special one that suits your budget with quality and size taken into consideration. You can then present it to your loved one in a special presentation box especially designed for that special person.
“I’m fairly sure” THE STAND ALONE MAN Has she been dropping any hints? Have you been listening? What colour jewellery does she prefer to wear? Yellow/White/Rose Has she commented on a friend’s ring? “I like Jenny’s ring” What shape is the diamond? Take note gentlemen.
The Rules of Engagement Blizzards can create a special design from just a few indications, tell her one day you will buy her the biggest square diamond you can find, she might say “great” or “I don’t like square, I prefer round” or another shape. Leave jewellery catalogues around your home and take note what she looks at.

You don’t want to be pushy about what you want in a ring, but you think it might be close. Give him some hints: “I love White Gold” (Yellow Gold or Platinum etc…) “If I ever had to pick a ring I would pick …” Single stone, cluster etc… Don’t overdo it as some men are independent and have a need to do it themselves. Others need helpful hints like “Blizzards make beautiful rings” or “I like princess cut diamonds”. Leave cut out pictures that you like of certain style rings, from catalogues or internet pictures. Tell a friend to drop a hint to him; most times he will be very grateful.
