a few different things.

Kyabram Tastes and Tunes Committee member Carman Nicholson thinks the music is so good, that she won’t know where she will dance.

“We have a live fire performance at 9pm, that will be really impressive. We have circus skills, some undercover games space, outdoor yard games.

“It got crowded last year down one end, so we are trying to spread the crowd because they are both awesome bands,” Carman said.

“Michael Maskell will be there again and did an exceptional job last year from the Kyabram Youth Club.

“They are very impressive bands, in terms of that vibe of getting everybody up and active, they will both do an exceptional job of that. “Indi is awesome, she will do a great job entertaining that space.” The second element is the food.

“He has got lots of activities for kids and the kids just adored it last year, it was fantastic, he had them running around all night. “We have the silent disco, the always popular airbrush tattoos. “We have laser tag this year, an inflatable mobile laser tag course, so there are many obstacles for kids to hide behind, run and tag each other; that should be a bit of fun. “Kyabram Toy Library is on board this year and has preschoolaged activities. “Face Painting by Kim Patton, she was there last year and did a great job, so she is back again. “There is a local business opening up, Fantastic Faces in Rodney Chambers, and they are going to have a range of different necklace-making, bracelets, rock painting and plaster moulds, and that is nice from a kid’s perspective, everyone’s going to be very busy.” All the kids’ activities are free, except for the bucking bull, and a gold coin donation to the Blue Light Disco. “We wanted to have an event in Kyabram, so people didn’t have to leave Kyabram, you don’t have to go to Shepparton, you don’t have to go to Echuca to have a fantastic event, we wanted something in town,” Carman said.

Band full of good vibes Dance the night away The Baker Boys Band comprise professional musicians who customise their line-up for each performance. For this year’s Kyabram Tastes and Tunes, there is the same line-up as the group that got everyone up and dancing at the 2023 event.

Everyone in The Baker Boys Band are professional musicians who do a lot of weddings and corporate events, finding themselves in the district regularly playing gigs. They can play for any size event, from a 25-guest small intimate party to a 1500-guest functions, as well as playing the festival scene.

According to her dad, Lester, singing is something she has always done, including singing in local theatre productions when she was very young.

“I will be doing the musical theatre production in Echuca, Into the Woods.

With Liz Dillon as her vocal coach, Indi has been with Dillmac Entertainment for the past seven years.

She then competed in the dance troop with Dillmac Entertainment, with the troop winning four national titles, two runner-ups, and the overall national troop championship.
