Tooleybuc is a well-known holiday destination for families and a great stop-over point on the route from Adelaide to Sydney — the perfect place to get off the highway and unwind.

It’s also the gateway to the beautiful Yanga National Park, one of the world’s largest River Red Gum forests, which has international importance as a breeding ground for egrets.

Popular for its riverside location, Tooleybuc is rich in industry from large-scale dry land cereal and livestock production, to small intensive horticulture, wineries and tourist businesses.

A vibrant community with plenty of attractions to explore, the town boasts a number of beautifully maintained parks along the river that make for fabulous lunch or rest stops with plenty of amusement on offer for the kids.

It’s also a great part of the world to visit with your boat and fishing rod, featuring a boat ramp in operation near the centre of town.
