First consider the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms you want,

along with other features which could include an outdoor area, shed or pool, Cardamone Real Estate director Peter Cardamone said. Also consider whether you want a home to live in, invest in or land to build on; and the location and size of property you are after. “You may want to live close to where you work or where your children go to school, or you may want to live out of town for a lifestyle property,” Rocky Gagliardi, principal/director of Gagliardi Scott Real Estate said. “If you are a first home buyer you need to work out if a town house or a smaller home will fit your budget. “Then also compare if building is an option too, as you may be able to build a bigger home on a bigger block.” Mr Gagliardi suggests going to open homes over a six week period to really decipher what you want and what the market is doing.
