Family business backs farmers

This year will see John Sanderson Machinery celebrate a decade of attending the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo.

Based in Nagambie, the family owned and operated business has been servicing the north-central Victoria region for the past 30 years, with three generations of Sandersons supporting farmers with all their machinery needs.

“We keep coming back because the expo allows us to get out there and show the people what we have to offer,” Damian Sanderson said.

“If we get a few sales on the day, that’s great. But the expo is not just about one day, it’s about what it can bring us over the next 12 months.

“We’re there to display our products for the customer, whether that be hobby farmers or everyday farmers, and to provide them with a chance to inspect equipment that might be helpful on their property.

“We’ll have tractors, Massey Ferguson tractors, Fendt tractors, Kioti, a couple of sprayers, basically what we can get there.

“Whatever we can get a hold of, we will try to bring. We hope to have something for everyone.”
