Picnic time for teddy bears

EVERY TEDDY’S FAVOURITE DAY IS COMING UP SOON, WITH THE TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC RETURNING TO ECHUCA-MOAMA.

Give your teddy a heads up so they can pick out their best outfit for the big day.

The event was a great success last year, with the Mik Macs performing at the event.

Murray River Mayor Chris Bilkey is encouraging residents and visitors to head along.

“The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is one of my favourite annual events. It’s great to see families and children with their teddy bears enjoying a day out in our beautiful surrounds,” Cr Bilkey said.

There will once again be wonderful entertainment to keep your child and their teddy bear busy, and the Moama Lions Club will be hosting a community barbecue for attendees.

“There’ll be face painting, bubble fun, giveaways and plenty of space to relax; so there’s something for the whole family to enjoy,” Cr Bilkey said.

Amenities will also include Port Ice Creamery, Let’s Do Coffee and more.

The event is being held at Moama Recreation Reserve’s main oval at 11 am on Sunday, April 2. Bring the whole family, especially your teddy, for a wonderful day out.
