Hot to trot on Easter Sunday

IF IT’S NOT ALREADY, THE ECHUCA HARNESS RACING CLUB TWILIGHT EASTER CUP SHOULD BE MARKED DOWN ON YOUR CALENDAR FOR EASTER SUNDAY.

The annual event returns on April 9 at the Echuca Harness Racing Club on Simmie St, Echuca.

Racegoers can expect all the usual betting avenues with the return of the Punters Club and TAB.

In addition to the on-track action, the Easter Cup is famous for its family-friendly entertainment.

“The Twilight Easter Cup is traditionally a familyorientated event for Easter Sunday,” club secretary Hope Gamble said.

“Our consideration is always with families, and this year there’ll definitely be some big attraction, as well as the regular jumping castle, pony trots, etc.”

Kids of all ages can take part in what Hope describes as a “monster Easter egg hunt” with plenty of the sweet treats hidden in the beautiful grassed areas.

The Echuca Harness Racing Club has thought of everything for its big night of entertainment.

In the mood for a boogie? Head to the DJ on the lawn.

Feeling thirsty or peckish? There’ll be plenty of bars, coffee and food options on the grounds.

With all the action and entertainment, the Echuca Harness Racing Club is the place to be on Easter Sunday.
