Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education (Online) As an oral health professions educator, you have can help shape the future direction of oral health care as a leader and teacher. In this program, you’ll build on your previous bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or another field to advance your career as an oral health professions educator. This 9-credit hour program is offered entirely online for practicing dental professionals, including licensed dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants, and provides education methodology courses to enhance preparation for teaching in dental, dental hygiene, or dental assisting education. When you graduate, you’ll be well prepared to teach courses in a variety of educational settings, such as community colleges, four-year institutions, and vocational/technical schools. Admission Requirements For admission into the program, an applicant must have: • •
