1. Introduction This document provides clear insights into working standards of the MC 1718. The purpose of working standards is to have a common ground on the execution of MC member responsibilities. The working standards might change throughout the term.

2. Office hours Description: • 8hours/day, excluding lunch break • common working hours at the office for every team member are 10:00 - 16:00 • working hours don’t limit roadshows, visits, events or meetings • working hours before or after this time shall be reported Accountability: • every working day will start with a 15-minute check-in to arrange synergies for the day • the only case for not attending this meeting is meeting with an external stakeholder that couldn’t be arranged in other time • punishment for not coming to the office on time is 0,50€ for every 5min

3. Home office Description: • requested on Slack or via mail at least 2 working days in advance • approved by the MCP • after put in the team calendar During home office: • submit a list of tasks with time allocation to the whole team before 10:00 and send evaluation at the end of the working day Duration: • 1 day of home office per each week plus 2 additional home office days per month Accountability: • the inability to fulfil tasks presented in the morning will mean the home office day will count as unpaid day off

4. Holidays Description: • requested on Slack or via mail at least 4 working days in advance • approved by the MCP • after put in the team calendar • no possibility to take half day off Duration: • 20 paid days of holiday per year • everything above 20 paid days is unpaid - the salary is equally decreased

5. Faci days Description: • requested on Slack or via mail at least 2 working days before submitting an application • approved by the MCP • after put in the team calendar Duration: • 10 faci days per year • everything above 10 faci days will be deducted from holidays, following the rules for holidays

6. Substitution of holidays for events International conferences: • 2-days of weekend spent on an international conference - the first working day is off National conferences: • 2-days of weekend spent on a Slovak national conference - the first next two working day are off Local conferences: • for each day spend on a local conference during the weekend the first next working day are off LC visit: • for each day spend on an LC visit during the weekend the first next working day are off Description: • these days off can’t be transferred and counted as a part of holidays, as resting is important right after every conference and will improve the performance of the MC team members • LC Monthly Reviews (4h) can’t be substituted but MC member can decrease his office hours by the time spent on Monthly review

7. Sick days Description: • inform the MCP by a message or a phone call, latest in the morning of the day you don’t feel well Duration: • just - get better soon :)

8. Team communication Description: • Slack - everything, files, discussions, etc. • FB group and chat - ad-hoc non-formal stuff • mail - official information (if needed, also Cc LCPs) Accountability: • create a habit to open Slack every day in the morning to make sure you’re up to speed
