Designer Luciano Marson Annalisa Berardi Descrizione La facciata di L31 è formata da un unico pannello frazionato in un gioco di sette sezioni, tutte di dimensioni diverse, che rendono difficile la distinzione fra parti fisse e mobili.

Aprendo le ante si scoprono i bordi lasciati a vista al fine di dichiarare e sottolineare che ci troviamo di fronte a un mobile realizzato in legno massello listellare.

L31, un mobile che è bello chiuso, ma che sorprende una volta aperto grazie alle inaspettate cerniere a scomparsa. Ancora un inno e un atto d’amore per il legno da parte di Luciano aggraziato e addolcito dai riusciti e contemporanei abbinamenti cromatici di Annalisa.

Description The fronts of L31 are formed from a single panel fractionated in a game of seven sections, all of different sizes, which make it difficult to distinguish between the fixed parts and those that open. Opening the doors we discover that the edges are left exposed in order to declare and emphasize that we are dealing with a piece of furniture made of solid wood strips. L31, a beautiful piece of furniture when closed but that surprises once opened thanks to the unexpected hidden hinges.

Once again a hymn and a labor of love for wood by Luciano, made graceful and softened thanks to the successful and contemporary color combinations by Annalisa.

Designer Luciano Marson Annalisa Berardi Descrizione Il mobile L31 è realizzato completamente in legno massello, stabilizzato mediante 2 fogli di pioppo e due di MDF, impiallacciato in wengè all’esterno e acero all’interno. Dal 2015 viene anche realizzato laccato opaco all’esterno, in otto diversi colori. In questo caso l’interno è impiallacciato in frassino tinto caffè Trieste. Il frontale cassetto è abbinato alla finitura interna.

I 31 millimetri dello spessore del casetto hanno suggerito il nome L31 che lo identifica. I cassetti con estrazione totale e rientro frenato, le cerniere a scomparsa ma regolabili, il piano superiore a vassoio, le ante che proseguono nel fianco, la schiena spessa il triplo del normale: tutti dettagli che contraddistinguono la ricerca dell’assoluto.

Description The Cabinet L31 is made entirely of solid wood, stabilized by 2 sheets of poplar and 2 of MDF, veneered in wengè on the outside and maple on the inside. The name that identifies it was suggested by the 31 mm thickness of the drawer. Since 2015 the outside is also finished in matte lacquer, in eight different colors.

In this case, the inside is laminated ash–wood tinted Trieste coffee.

The drawer frontal matches the inside finish. The drawers with full extension and restrained return, the concealed but adjustable hinges, the tray upper top, the doors that continue into the side, the back three times thicker than normal: all details that distinguish the search of the absolute.

Designer Gianmaria Sforza Descrizione La Permanente di Milano è il luogo dove è stata esposta per la prima volta L18. Diciotto sono i torniti che vengono forniti nella versione standard della libreria L18 che ne hanno determinato il nome. Possono essere tutti in frassino naturale, tinti Ematite Elba o Caffè Trieste.

C’è anche la possibilità di utilizzarli mischiati fra loro e utilizzarne due o tre varianti insieme come nelle foto di queste pagine. I ripiani sono in MDF rivestito con una protezione di colore bianco, molto resistente, normalmente utilizzata nei mobili per ufficio. A richiesta sono disponibili 8 colori di laccature opache per una ulteriore caratterizzazione della libreria. Ogni singolo elemento orizzontale può essere assemblato in quattro diversi modi cosicchè si possono ottenere ottenere molteplici configurazioni utilizzando 6 diverse varianti dei colonnati.

Non dimentichiamo infatti che la libreria L18 si può utilizzare con un minimo di 2 ripiani per poi farla crescere con l’aumentare della nostra biblioteca e dei nostri ricordi.

Description L18 was exhibited for the first time at the Permanent Exhibition in Milan.

Eighteen are the Columns supplied in the standard version of the L18 library which determined its name.

They may be all in natural ash, tinted Elba Hematite or Trieste Coffee.

There is also the possibility of mixing and using two or three alternatives together as in the photos on these pages. The shelves are made of MDF covered with a white colored protection, very strong, normally used in office furniture. Available on request, 8 colors of matt lacquers for further characterization of the library. Every single horizontal element can be assembled in four different ways so you can get many configurations using 6 different variants of the columns. The L18 library can be used with a minimum of 2 shelves and then made to grow with the increase of our library and our memories.

Designer Barazzuol ⁄ Malisan Descrizione Vuole essere un omaggio alle linee in voga negli anni 50 alle quali aggiunge un’eleganza inaspettata dovuta agli spessori e finiture utilizzate. Disegnato e prodotto nel 2010 per il proprio studio, da Roberto Barazzuol e Cristian Malisan, è ora disponibile nella collezione LightsOn. A partire dall’estate 2016 il tavolo L50 viene proposto anche con piano impiallacciato in acero naturale, frassino tinto Ematite Elba oppure Caffè Trieste.

Attraverso una avveniristica tecnica di accoppiamento metallo ⁄ legno e il paziente lavoro dei nostri maestri ebanisti e verniciatori siamo riusciti ad aggiungere il calore e l’armonia del legno pur mantenendo un impatto talmente sottile da scomparire alla vista d’occhio. Il piano infatti ha uno spessore di soli 4 mm ma al contempo presenta una struttura estremamente robusta. Disponibile in una gamma di otto colori opachi, tre legni e quattro diverse misure.

Description Meant to be a tribute to the lines in vogue in the 50s with added unexpected elegance due to the thicknesses and finishes used.

Designed and produced by Roberto Barazzuol and Cristian Malisan in 2010 for their studio, it’s now available in the LightsOn collection.

From summer 2016 the L50 table is also available in veneered natural maple, as well as Elba Hematite or Trieste Coffee tinted ash. Through a futuristic metal ⁄ wood coupling technique and the patient work of our master cabinet makers and painters we were able to add warmth and harmony to the wood while maintaining a subtle impact invisible to the naked eye. The tabletop has a thickness of only 4 mm but at the same time has an extremely strong structure. Available in a range of eight matt colors, three veneers and four different sizes.

Designer Studio SANAA ⁄ Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa Descrizione Il Museo della Triennale di Milano con la mostra W. Women in Design ha esposto per la prima volta al grande pubblico la poltroncina L16.

Per riuscire invece a realizzarla abbiamo coinvolto produttori di tessuti tecnici, trapuntatori, sarti e sarte, tappezzieri e loro prototipisti, produttori ed esperti di imbottiture e dopo mesi e mesi di prove siamo riusciti a ottenere il risultato richiesto dall’idea progettuale dello studio SANAA ⁄ Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa. Fare poi le gambe tornite in legno sottili ma robuste e il telaio in metallo che si chiude con un aggancio magnetico è sembrato facile e semplice. Il risultato finale è insieme poetico e attraente: alla prima visione viene immediato il desiderio di toccare, accarezzare, sedersi e coccolarsi su questa nuvola amica.

Description The L16 chair was exhibited for the first time to the general public at the Milan Triennale Museum during the W. Women in Design exhibition.

Its realization involved manufacturers of technical textiles, quilters, tailors and seamstresses, upholsterers and their prototype developers, manufacturers and padding experts and after months and months of testing we were able to get the result requested from the project designed by the SANAA ⁄ Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa Studio. It then seemed easy and simple to make shapely legs in thin but sturdy wood and the metal frame that closes with a magnetic coupling. The end result is both poetic and attractive: the immediate desire to touch, caress, cuddle and sit on this friendly cloud at first sight.

Description The stool L09 is multipurpose: it can be a single table, an aggregate table for the living room, a library column, the 45 cm in height seating for adults and the 35 cm for children; ecological: it is made with grown wood and also proposed crude, free of paint; compact: the package is only 4 cm thick and when assembled can be stacked in groups of 3, easy to assemble without the need of wrenches or screwdrivers; historical: the first draft of Edoardo Gellner is on 1958 commissioned by Enrico Mattei for the holiday camps for the children of AGIP employees, democratic design: in Europe it is proposed from 90,00 €.

Designer Luciano Marson Annalisa Berardi Descrizione Annalisa Berardi e Luciano Marson si confrontano con la riedizione di una sedia classica in questo caso la sedia friulana denominata Milano che ha avuto tanta diffusione negli anni ’60. Il prodotto di LightsOn, pur mantenendo tanti dei componenti originari, risulta attualissimo nella sua immagine contemporanea; oltre che nell’estetica risulta migliorato anche nella funzionalità in quanto la seduta è stata allargata e resa più comoda. È realizzata con legno di faggio proveniente da coltivazioni europee ed è molto ecofriendly nella versione grezza. È leggera per il peso limitato a meno di 4 kg ed è molto robusta grazie a una struttura collaudata da decenni di uso.

Description The chair L60 is a tribute from Annalisa Berardi and Luciano Marson to the traditional Friuli chair named Milan. The item, while maintaining many of the original components, looks surprisingly up to date in its contemporary image; it has been improved aesthetically as well as functionally since the seat was enlarged and made more comfortable. It is made from European grown beech wood; very ecofriendly in the crude version. The light weight is resticted to less than 4 kg; even so, it is very sturdy thanks to its structure, tried and tested by decades of use.

Designer Luciano Marson Annalisa Berardi con Luca Furlan Descrizione Il successo di vendite e di critica ottenuto dalla sedia L60 ha provocato una ripetuta richiesta di avere anche uno sgabello da poterci abbinare. LightsOn fa della risposta al mercato motivo di vanto ed orgoglio e ha voluto rispondere concretamente ponendo sul mercato ben due versioni di sgabello alto: uno con schienalino identico alla sedia L60 e l’altro che ne mantiene le caratteristiche gambe tornite e curvate abbinate ad un semplice sedile rotondo a tamburello.

Gli sgabelli e le sedie L60 sono stati scelti da Ecor – NaturaSì per arredare i propri bistrot ed anche per l’area ospitalità alla fiera SANA di Bologna.

Description The sales success and critical acclaim obtained from the L60 chair caused a repeated request to also have a stool to match. LightsOn are proud to respond concretely to the market request by putting two versions of a high stool on the market: one with backrest identical to the L60 chair and the other that maintains the curved and shapely legs feature combined with a simple round tambourine–type seat. The stools and chairs L60 were chosen by Ecor – NaturaSì to furnish its bistros and also for the hospitality area of the SANA fair in Bologna.

Designer Studio_Gellner Descrizione La sedia imbottita L58 è stata progettata originariamente da Edoardo Gellner per un locale pubblico nel 1958 e da qui nasce la sigla che la contraddistingue.

La versione che proponiamo è stata aggiornata da Studio_Gellner mantenendo tutte le caratteristiche originarie ed intervenendo sulla sola altezza, rendendola più consona alle esigenze ergonomiche domestiche e residenziali contemporanee.

Il risultato è una sedia comoda e confortevole, imbottita e rivestita con materiali eco–sostenibili, cucita in modo impeccabile.

Il telaio è realizzato in legno di faggio europeo coltivato.

Description The upholstered chair L58 was originally designed by Edoardo Gellner for public premises in 1958 and from this was given its product name. The version that we propose has been updated

Designer LDT (LightsOn Design Team) Descrizione L27 vuole essere un tributo alla semplicità nella forma e nell’utilizzo, nasce come complemento d’arredo e si coniuga con la funzione di divisorio tra spazi; si connota come un volume puro in aggetto, priva di maniglie e di componenti tecniche a vista ed aperta a qualsiasi genere di personalizzazione, per librarsi leggera nei locali che l’accolgono.

Semplicissima da installare sia nella versione a battente che a scorrere rappresenta la porta ideale per tutti i fori, poggiando su un telaio esterno che permette di installarla con effetto filo soffitto anche in caso di forometrie classiche o con luci in altezza inferiori a quelle del pannello.

I tratti caratteriali forti di L27 rimangono comunque quelli legati alla sua funzione di complemento d’arredo, potendo da sola generare un forte trasporto empatico all’interno degli spazi in cui viene collocata, grazie alle sue delicate proporzioni, alla sua versatilità nelle rifiniture ed alla possibilità di far risaltare le proprie forme anche attraverso la retroilluminazione.

Il suo telaio nero opaco, in nuance con ferramenta e guarnizioni accoglie in maniera quasi invisibile il notolino di chiusura che comanda l’innesto della dentellatura di chiusura direttamente nel pannello porta.

L27 viene proposta in entrambe le versioni con pannello a partire dall’altezza di cm 270, e riesce a garantire un ottima schermatura alla luce anche nella versione a scorrere.

Description L27 wants to be a tribute to simplicity, both in form and use, it is born as a furnishing accessory and it combines itself with the function of partition between spaces. It distinguishes itself ad a pure jutting out volume, without handles and technical components that can be seen, and open to any kind of personalization, in order to soar weightless in the spaces that welcome it. Extremely simple to install, both in the swing and sliding version, represents the ideal door for all openings, as it is held by an external frame that allows it to be installed with a seamless ceiling effect even in the case of classic forometrie or with lights lower in height than those of the panel.

The L27 strong character traits remain those linked to its furnishing accessory function, being able to generate, by itself, a strong empathic feeling within the spaces in which it is installed, thanks to its delicate proportions, its versatility in its finishing effects and thanks to the possibility to celebrate its forms also through backlighting.

Its opaque black frame, in tuning with hardware and gaskets, almost invisibly welcomes the closing notch that commands the engagement of the closing indent directly in the door panel. L27 is offered in both versions (swing and sliding) with a panel measure starting from 270 cm in height, and is able to guarantee an excellent light shielding even in the sliding version.

La prima fattura in assoluto che ha emesso LightsOn è stata per la fornitura delle sedie del ristorante nell’hotel Nikko a Fukuoka: era il modello L60 modificato nell’altezza, con colore dello schienale speciale, con cuscino in tessuto cliente, con l’aggiunta di due fuselli nello schienale per evitare che le borsette delle eleganti donne giapponesi potessero cadere dietro alla loro schiena… insomma abbiamo iniziato ad allenarci in modo intensivo alla “Palestra Contract”. Sono poi seguite diverse forniture a ristoranti italiani e gelaterie tedesche.

La prova di efficienza più significativa la abbiamo superata inventando, su richiesta di Expo Milano 2015 la versione per esterni dello sgabello L09 che abbiamo progettato, realizzato e consegnato in 380 esemplari in soli diciotto giorni lavorativi! Prima ci avevano testato chiedendoci e ottenendo centottanta sedie L54, cinquanta tavoli e cento tavolini speciali L50 in dodici giorni lavorativi. Che altro dire, siamo anche fornitori ufficiali di tavoli, sedie e sgabelli nei Bistrot NaturaSì.

The very first invoice that LightsOn realesed was for supplying the chairs for the Restaurant situated inside the Nikko hotel, in Fukuoka: the chairs were the L60 model modified in height, with the back custom colored and with a pillow made with the clients’ fabric, with the addition of two spindles at the back to avoid that the elegant Japanese women’s purses could fall behind their back… in short, we began to train intensely for the ‘Contract Gym’. Hans Coray

Hans Coray, artista svizzero, 1906 – 1991. Oltre che ai movimenti avanguardisti, si è avvicinato alla psicologia, ITTI OZINWTWOQI ITTI ÅTWTWOQI ML ITTI ÅTW[WÅI ZMTQOQW[I° Attivissimo nel periodo tra le due guerre, ha frequentato l’ambiente del design industriale interrogandosi sui bisogni sociali dell’uomo comune. Letterato e pittore più che designer, è noto per aver ideato Landi chair pezzo cult del 1938, ancora oggi esposto al MOMA e considerato uno dei simboli del design svizzero. In Italia la stessa sedia fu prodotta con il nome Spartana per le sue singolari caratteristiche funzionali e la sua estrema praticità.

Ottimizzazione della forma, perizia tecnica, conoscenza dei materiali hanno sempre contraddistinto il suo lavoro.

La sua innovativa ricerca progettuale, miscela sapiente di disinvolta spontaneità e grande precisione, si è concentrata sullo studio di forme elementari facili da produrre e capaci LQ LQ‫ٺ‬MZMV\Q KWUJQVIbQWVQ 4I [MLQI 4 MZI ]V XZW\W\QXW realizzato negli anni 50 ma probabilmente pensato prima viste le similitudini formali e concettuali con Landi chair.

Un progetto che conferma la straordinaria capacità di Coray di precorrere i tempi. La concezione originaria di questa sedia è assolutamente in linea con la produzione industriale della nostra epoca. È economica, ben risolta tecnicamente e così leggera da pesare poco più di 3 kg.

In più è totalmente riciclabile.

Hans Coray, Swiss artist, 1906 – 1991. In addition to the avant–garde movements, he approached psychology, graphology, philology and religious philosophy. Very active in the period between the wars, he attended the environment of industrial design, questioning the social needs of the common man. Writer and painter rather than a designer, he is known for having created the landi chair, cult piece of 1938, still exhibited at the MOMA and considered a symbol of Swiss design. The same chair was produced in Italy, and named Spartan for its unique functional characteristics and its extreme practicality.

Shape optimization, technical expertise, knowledge of materials have always marked his work. His innovative progect research, a mix of casual spontaneity and great precision, was concentrated on the study of fundamental NWZU[ MI[a \W XZWL]KM IVL KIXIJTM WN LQ‫ٺ‬MZMV\ ^IZQI\QWV[ <PM KPIQZ 4 _I[ I XZW\W\aXM XZWL]KML QV \PM ÅN\QM[ J]\ most probably thought of much earlier due to the formal and conceptual similarity with the Landi chair A design \PI\ KWVÅZU[ +WZIa¼[ KIXIKQ\a \W IV\QKQXI\M \PM \QUM[ The original concept of this chair is absolutely up–to–date with the industrial design of our times. Il nome di Gellner è legato soprattutto alle Olimpiadi Invernali di Cortina d’Ampezzo nel 1956 e alla ZMITQbbIbQWVM LMT >QTTIOOQW ;WKQITM -61 LQ +WZ\M LQ Cadore, voluto e commissionatogli dall’allora presidente LMTT¼-61 -VZQKW 5I\\MQ 1T >QTTIOOQW WKK]XI ]VI []XMZÅKQM di 260 ettari e si compone di 270 ville, due alberghi, una Colonia per seicento bambini, un Campeggio per gli scout e la Chiesa realizzata in collaborazione con Carlo Scarpa. Contemporaneamente, dal 1987 al 1996 fonda e gestisce a Milano Marson è, agenzia di relazioni pubbliche che ha avuto come clienti Bulthaup Italia, Horm, Montis, Palazzetti e Valcucine. Nel 1989 fonda, con altri soci, Horm srl assumendo la carica di Direttore Generale e responsabile KZMI\Q^W ,IT QV\MV[QĂ&#x2026;KI TM KWTTIJWZIbQWVQ KWV OZIVLQ architetti e designer quali Alvaro Siza, Mario Botta, Toyo Ito, Steven Holl, Karim Rashid, Dâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;urbino Lomazzi, Mario Bellini, Toshiyuki Kita, SANAA, Kengo Kuma; parecchi di loro sono diventati amici personali con cui intrattiene rapporti costanti. Nel 1998 gli è stato assegnato il Compasso LÂź7ZW XMZ TI OZIĂ&#x2026;KI UMV\ZM Y]ITM +-7 LQ 0WZU PI ZQKM^]\W altri due Compassi dâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;Oro nel 2004 con Ripples e nel 2008 con lo stand del Salone del Mobile realizzato nel 2005.

Dal 2010 al 2012 è consulente di Direzione Generale di Albini e Fontanot spa. Attualmente è consulente di Bross, contitolare di Wlegno, Pieces of Venice e LightsOn della quale anche Creative Director.

He is currently a consultant to Bross, coâ&#x20AC;&#x201C;owner Wlegno, Pieces of Venice and Creative Director of LightsOn.

Dopo un’esperienza professionale con Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima ha fondato nel 1997 lo studio SANAA con il socio Ryue Nishizawa, “sintesi di pragmatismo e intellettualismo”. Kazuyo Sejima è stata la prima donna a diventare direttore della Biennale Architettura di Venezia e la seconda dopo Zaha Hadid a vincere il premio Pritzker.

SANAA ha lavorato in tutto il mondo, da New York a Losanna: ha progettato nella Grande Mela il New Museum of Contemporary Art e in Svizzera ha ultimato nel 2010 il Rolex Center nel campus della scuola politecnica. In Francia a Lens ha costruito il nuovo Louvre, in Giappone PI ÅZUI\W XZWOM\\Q XMZ VMOWbQ IJQ\IbQWVQ M [XIbQ XMZ TI K]T\]ZI ;)6)) v [W\\W Q ZQÆM\\WZQ I 8IZQOQ LW^M v [\I\W XQ volte bloccato e poi ripreso l’audace e innovativo progetto di restauro, per un’attesissima rinascita dei magazzini La Samaritaine” come si legge sul sito web della proprietà, il gruppo Lvmh. Gli architetti giapponesi hanno terminato QV\IV\W I <WSaW ]V MLQÅKQW LMLQKI\W IT TI^WZW LMTT¼IZ\Q[\I 3I\[][PQSI 0WS][IQ ]V U][MW LM[\QVI\W IL I‫ٺ‬MZUIZ[Q come punto di riferimento culturale per la comunità locale.

Tra i lavori in corso c’è un auditorium per 1200 posti in una cittadina a Nord del Giappone mentre tra le opere recenti ÅZUI\M ;)6)) K¼v ]V XQKKWTW MLQÅKQW QV ]V¼Q[WTI ]V volume leggero e originale che ospita al suo interno una sala d’aspetto e un parcheggio per le biciclette, sul waterfront.

SANAA sta progettando anche in Italia avendo vinto il concorso per riconvertire l’area dell’ex centrale del latte di Milano in un nuovo campus per La Bocconi.

SANAA worked all over the world, from New York to Losanne. In NYC SANAA designed the New Museum of Contemporary art and in Switzerland they completed, in 2010, the Rolex Centre within the polytechnic school campus. In Lens, France, the team designed the new Louvre IVL QV 2IXIV \PMa [QOVML W‫ ٺ‬LM[QOV[ NWZ [\WZM[ PW][M[ IVL cultural spaces. SANAA is under the spotlight in Paris for their daring and innovative restoration project, which has been halted and once again started multiples times, for the awaited rebirth of the La Samaritaine store, as you can read on the owner’s webpage, Lmvh. Meanwhile in Tokyo, the Japanese architects completed a building dedicated to the work of the artist Katsushika Hokusai: a museum destined to become a cultural reference point for the local community. Within their current projects the is a 1200 seats auditorium in a city in northern Japan, while within the recently completed designed signed by SANAA there is a small building in an island: an original and light volume that hosts insides a waiting room and a bicycle parking, on the waterfront. SANAA is also active in Italy, as they won the competition to reconvert the area of the dismissed Centrale del Latte in a new campus for Bocconi.

Come GMS Studio dâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;Architettura sviluppa progetti di Architettura e Architettura del paesaggio alla piccola scala, sperimentando forme di accoglienza mirate al UWVLW LMTTÓ&#x160;W[XQ\ITQ\o M LMT \]ZQ[UW QV ]VÂźW\\QKI [W[\MVQJQTM Parallelamente lo studio sviluppa progetti di arredo per in interni ed esterni. Architect and designer since 2001. He holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture and until 2013 he has taught Architectural Design and Landscape Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. In 2015 with Paolo Toresani he founded PlayArchitecture Ltd. : a collective platform dedicated to research and experimentation between between Architecture and Design. GMS Studio dâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;Architettura LM^MTWX[ [UITT [KITM XZWRMK\[ QV \PM Ă&#x2026;MTL WN )ZKPQ\MK\]ZM and Landscape Architecture, focusing on hospitality and sustainable tourism. As a designer, he develops furniture design projects for indoor and outdoor.
