Carnegie: The StarSpangled Scotchman

As part of European Heritage Open Days, Larne Museum is pleased to present this screen version of the show once again. Join us for an afternoon film showing of this musical, which was recorded at the 2019 performance at Carnegie Hall,

Dunfermline. A new musical from Ian Hammond Brown, the composer/lyricist of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Pitlochry Festival Theatre hit: Whisky Galore a Musical, “Carnegie - The Star-Spangled Scotchman” tells the story of Andrew Carnegie’s life, but not as you’d expect. This is a free event however places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Reimagining the Islandmagee Witches: An Interactive Exhibition

Carrickfergus Museum

9 September - 16 November

This exciting new exhibition will be the launch platform for a range of interpretative experiences developed by a multi-disciplinary team at Ulster University. These include; a virtual reality experience, animation, graphic novel and choice-driven video game.

Flash Harry deliver a rock show that will have the audience rocking in their seats and singing along to anthems of one of the greatest bands in history; featuring classics like ‘Radio Ga Ga’, ‘We Are the Champions’, to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Who Wants to Live Forever’ and everything in between.

The five-piece band have played everywhere from the USA to Dubai as well as major venues
