Mid and East Antrim Borough Council adopted the Local Development Plan 2030 - Plan Strategy on 16 October 2023 in accordance with sec�on 12 of the Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and regula�on 24 of the Planning (Local Development Plan) Regula�ons (Northern Ireland) 2015. Copies of the adopted Plan Strategy, the Sustainability Appraisal incorpora�ng Strategic Environmental Assessment (which includes the par�culars specified in regula�on 15(4) of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regula�ons (Northern Ireland) 2004), the adop�on statement, the report and recommenda�ons of the Planning Appeals Commission, the Direc�on made by the Department for Infrastructure, and all associated plan documents are available to inspect free of charge during normal office hours from 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, Planning Department, Silverwood Business Park, 190 Raceview Road, Ballymena, BT42 4HZ. They are also available for inspec�on on the Councils website at www.midandeastantrim.gov.uk/planning The Plan Strategy became effec�ve on the date of adop�on i.e. the 16 October 2023.
