A

nte la alta penetración de telefonía móvil en el país cercana al 125 por ciento, así como a la característica reducción de líneas de telefonía fija, los operadores basan su crecimiento principalmente en el fomento de la banda ancha y el incremento en el tráfico del servicio de voz móvil a través de la transformación de su base de usuarios de prepago a pospago. En ese sentido, sobresale el crecimiento de ingresos de datos móviles por parte de América Móvil, que los incrementa 34.8 por ciento en moneda local, en sintonía con un crecimiento de líneas de pospago de 25.2 por ciento. Cabe señalar que recientemente se autorizó la portabilidad numérica móvil a nivel nacional, segmento en el que América Móvil ya reporta la ganancia de 45 mil nuevos suscriptores netos.
