5 YEARS IN HARMONY: HIGH FIVE”
MARKING FIVE YEARS IN HARMONY TawagAwit marks the 5th anniversary of its founding on 27 May 2012. The activity is dubbed as Food & Music FEAST 2012 to be held in the Blessed John Paul II Mass Centre, Albany Highway, Albany, Auckland. The theme of the event is “5 Years in Harmony: High Five” The proposed programme includes a thanksgiving mass at 10:30am followed by a video presentation entitled, “TawagAwit: Five years in Harmony”. If approved by the servant leaders, the proceedings will have food sharing at 12pm, and by 1pm, presentations, games and the Bible Quotient Quiz (BQQ) will follow. The proposal seeks the participation of each of the chapters to sing during the mass, as follows: Entrance: Blessed John Paul II Mass CentreAlbany; Gloria: St Thomas More – Glenfield; Psalm: Our Lady of Lourdes-Glen Eden; Offertory: St Patrick’s Taupo; Communion: St Mary’s Northcote; Reflection: Mt Mary’s-Titirangi; and Recessional: St Mark’s Pakuranga. Each chapter is free to choose the song it would like to offer in the mass. In his letter to the servant leaders, Bro Mel B Libre, Lead Servant, wrote: “Our ministry is what it is today because of the volunteering spirit of our servant leaders and contributions of each and every member. We have made friendships, we have fun together and, most importantly, we have pleased the Lord with our singing. Let us join hands to thank the Lord of the blessings He has bestowed to one and all.” Other details of the event will be published in FEAST NEWS, once the servant leaders approve the programme, after their consultation with the members.
