TAUPO CHAPTER TO SEND DELEGATION A delegation from TawagAwit-St Patrick’s Taupo will travel more than 200 kilometers to participate in Food & Music FEAST 2012 on Sunday 27 May 2012 in the Blessed John Paul II Mass Centre, Massey University, Albany, Auckland. Bro Nonoy Buerano, chapter spokesman, said, “YES we will come.” He said that during one of the gatherings of the group, FEAST 2012 was discussed and “in fact it turned out that most of our members got interested. I know that through God's grace the chapter will be sending delegates, although the numbers are still to be confirmed.” The delegation, led by Bro Edwin Silerio, servant leader, has committed to sing the Offertory Song, “Blessed are You Lord” during the Mass. They will also contribute a number during the programme that will follow the Shared Lunch. The group was established on 27 February 2011 when the TawagAwit-Our Lady of Lourdes chapter accepted the invitation to sing in St Patrick’s Taupo. On that occasion, Bro Mel B Libre, TawagAwit Lead Servant, gave an orientation to the Filipino parishioners who organised themselves into a chapter that sings monthly in the parish. In another development, Teachers in Sandals Fellowship, the sister ministry of TawagAwit, will participate in the FEAST with Bro Denis Tutaka, cst, (photo at right) as quizmaster in the BQQ (Bible Quotient Quiz) and Bro Jason Sharma and Sis MelissaKleyburg as emcees of programme.
