WINNING GOSPEL SONGS IN FEAST As a way of recognising outstanding gospel songs, Food & Music FEAST will feature select songs from this year’s Dove Music Awards.

TaYo: TawagAwit Youth in West Auckland will cover “Beautiful, Beautiful”, the Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year. Performed by Francesca Battistelli, “Beautiful, Beautiful” is composed by Ian Iskelin, Andrew Fromm and Battistelli. It is one of the cuts in the album, “My Paper Heart”.

TawagAwit-Good Shepherd Balmoral chapter chose “Our God (is Greater) the Worship Song of the Year as performed

by Chris Tomlin & The Passion Band. The infectious tune is composed by Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin Jesse Reeves and Jonas Myrin. This the second Chris Tomlin song that the chapter will perform in the Food & Music FEAST, the other being “How Great is Our God”, presented in last year’s first Food & Music FEAST edition.

St Mary’s Northcote chapter has opted for Bukas Palad songs. The St Thomas More, Glenfield chapter and the St Patrick’s Taupo chapter have committed to perform in the event as well.

This year’s program hosts are Bro Jerome and Sis Farrah Ortiz.
