CHEF LEO IN LINGAWDUWA MasterChef NZ Finalist to Meet Up with Fans
Leo Fernandez, finalist in the MasterChef New Zealand 2015, is coming to Auckland on November 21, 2015 as guest during LingawDuwa. He is expected to share his experience in the prestigious cooking competition and respond to questions in a Q & A Portion to be hosted by opinion writers of BAYANIZ, the Filipino Magazine in New Zealand. LingawDuwa organiser Mel B Libre said that “Chef Leo made Filipinos proud as he competed in MasterChef NZ. Not only did he showcase Filipino dishes; he conducted himself as a competitor who kept calm even under pressure; who developed cordial relationships with other contestants; who displayed humility; who shared his humor; and who cooked from the heart.” Told about how a good number of fans and admirers in Auckland would want to meet him and if he would accept an invitation, he wrote “I'm keen po. Should be ok.” Arrangements are now being worked out by organizers to finalize the appearance of Leo in LingawDuwa. LingawDuwa is open Filipinos and non-Filipinos to witness the fun games and meet up with Leo on November 21, 2015 in Henderson Intermediate School, 70 Lincoln Road, Henderson, Auckland.
