Letter From Your Lt.G Hey everyone, now that school has started up again and everyone is working on recruiting members make sure you are all paying the right amount in dues per member. International dues are $7 and district dues are $6 ($13) and the total amount for dues cannot be over $20. My cell number will be changing soon, so if any of the advisors need to contact me please email me and I will send an email letting you all know my phone number soon. If you need to contact me during the school day I will try to respond as quickly as possible but it will most likely take me a little while in the afternoons and Mon, Wed, and Fri mornings. Reminders and Updates 1. I do still need cell phone numbers for each club advisor and contact information for each club’s officers as we are no longer using the COCI and I need to give your contact information to the District Secretary. 2. Reports are due no later than September 5th and 11:59 pm (Report Link) 3. DCON Forum presentations are due by September 15th, we are planning on having more than 4 rooms this year so we would like to get as many forums to work with as we can. (DCON Forum Sign Up Sheet) 4. Keep T-O Beautiful- There are plenty of ideas for how you can help our environment throughout the year such as plastic bag drives, recycling plastic and cans, raising money for wildlife programs, and trash pick-ups. 5. Division Project- Our division project this year will be working with Make-A-Wish. We will be helping to raise money to help bridge the gap between the 170 wishes they are able to grant and the 312 wish kids in the state. Please email me iff you have any fundraising ideas so that I can help get your fundraiser approval from Ms. Nantois, she is helping me out on the MakeA-Wish side of things.

With school starting, what tips can you give on balancing school, Key Club, and any other extracurriculars? How do you plan on keeping new members involved in Key Club? Submit a Humans of Texas Oklahoma! How was your Key Club Experience and what is Key Club to you? Submit with a picture of you
You are always free to write about any Key Club-related topic! The articles should each have at least 1 JPG photo and be sent as Microsoft Word documents. Have the author, school name, division, article title, and prompt/whatever topic you choose at the top of the document. Email August articles by September 5th to Editor@tokeyclub.com with the email subject: Division School August Articles.
Task of the Month Please explain an idea for a Mascot that could represent the Texas-Oklahoma District. This was the TOM for June, (great submissions for that month!) but we are looking for even more creative, original submissions! If you completed the TOM in June please submit another mascot idea. Be sure to explain what it is that makes your mascot a good fit for Texas-Oklahoma, and why you chose that animal or object.

Oklahoma Fall Rally We are excited to bring back Fall Rally! Mark you calendars and download the registration info Registration is $25 per person and includes a T-shirt. If you have any questions they can be directed to Lt. Registration will be done through jotform but please read the letter below first.
