THE WOODLANDS The Woodlands, Winter 24 takes inspiration from an Anglo Saxon heritage, of medieval England and its cultural awakening. The Woodlands is full of meaningful emblems of this theme. Queens of power and middle England countryside are illustrated. Fairy tales, theology, plants and wild animals are conjured through traditional craftsmanship and textile prints. The complexity of this historical inspiration is mirrored in the colour, shapes and different fabric weights and fibres. The Woodlands is a collection of beautiful textures and rich colour. Quirky choices have been made by Megan that encourage us to wear utilitarian denim alongside luxurious velvet. Brocades come together with wools and embroidered linens and crumpled textures make up into truly feminine styles. The heroine of this story is a strong woman who celebrates all these elements and is literally wearing the crispness of the winter season.
