Winter/Festive 2016. Our Yasminka Collection is inspired by the autumn colors of the Himalayan mountains, by Tibetan culture with it’s subtle Mongolian styling. Incorporating finely detailed quilted jackets, crinkle skirts in certified organic cottons, smartly tailored blouses in Ahimsa silk and traditional artisan stitching details throughout, for a modern take on an ancient culture. Earth tone vegetable dye block prints reflect the autumn tones in the orange and golden hues of leaves, midnight blues of fresh mountain streams, the richness of evergreens and the deep woodsy earth tones of the mountain soil. Upmarket casual, an artistic blend of ancient Tibetan traditions, nature reflected in earth tone prints and modern silhouettes for the lifestyle of the contemporary women. Artisan inspired. Mehera Shaw is an artisanal lifestyle brand inspired by the textiles of India. Our look is characterized by an East West aesthetic, love of colour, prints, and organic cottons. Feminine styles and relaxed tailoring for work or casual wear. And we love that these clothes are manufactured in-house in Jaipur, India by our fair trade production studio.
