Pool on Pacific Opening Day Celebration

The Park District of Franklin Park will hold its Opening Day Celebration for the Pool on Pacific, 9715 Pacific in Franklin Park, on Saturday, May 27 from Noon to 6 pm There will be giveaways, raffles, concessions and more. The fee is the daily $8 for residents and $10 for non-residents or a pool pass

Symphony Presents Season Finale Spring Concert

The Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest presents its season-ending spring concert on Sunday, May 21, at 4 pm in Concordia University’s Chapel in River Forest. Concerto Competition winner Beatrice Sjostrom is featured soloist. A preconcert conversation with Board President David Leehey begins at 3 pm, and a free reception follows the concert. Free parking is available in the garage at Bonnie Brae and Thomas. Tickets are $30, $27 if ordered online by May 20 Students through college are admitted free of charge.
