Synopsis of the Comic Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kaufmann together with their son Edgar Jr. move into their newly constructed home, ‘The Fallingwater’. Designed by Architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the building stands at the edge of a waterfall which runs smoothly through it. Upon emerging from the
stream below, Ava a water spirit notices the large structure for the first time, towering above her. She is instantly amazed by its beauty but is frightened at the same time by its presence in the forest. Deciding to have a closer look, Ava moves nearer to the structure. She finds a staircase leading upwards from the water and into the building. She enters the house and while observing everything around her, she meets Edgar Jr.
Convinced that the building is harmful to her home environment, Ava asks little Ed why it was built in such a manner so disrupting to her natural home. Ed offers to show her his new home and in doing so makes her realise that the building does not harm anything in its environment. Eventually Ava realises that the large house is built in a manner which allows the coexistence of man with nature. As they continue to wander about, Ava is startled by the voice of Mrs. Kaufmann and immediately dives back into the river below. Emerging from the water again, Ava is happy to have made a new friend and she decides that she will visit him again with the hope of learning more about him and his new home.
