Food and shelter are difficult to come by in the winter. Predators are often ravenous as well. As children of the winter, we live in a drought

us spiritually let us think about animals who survive in the winter. There is less food, less shelter or protection and very cold weather.

However when there is a strong herd of animals they will surround the young, old weak and sometimes sickly animals to protect them from the wolves, foxes and birds of prey and will fight to defend them. This is how prayer encircles us but the spirit of God is far reaching than herds surrounding the weak. When we pray we should pray for ourselves, family church and other love ones. When we are strong, prays can reach far, it can encircle the weak, sick and young ones who cannot pray for themselves.

How does the circle of pray work? Christ said pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks; for this is the will for

my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my pray, Romans 1:9.

We can pray alone or in groups; how did the church pray for Peter? “Peter therefore kept in prison; but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him”, Acts 12:5. How did Paul use the circle of prayer? “I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscious, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day.”

How would Samuel sin against God by not praying for the people? “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way,” 1 Samuel 12:23. God commanded his leaders to pray for the people so that they would stand in the breach for them when they sin and the wrath of God would not destroy them because God will hear the voice of his children. How often did David pray? “Evening, and morning and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud; and he shall hear my voice,” Psalms 55:17.

As we live in the latter days, the famine of truth, days of Noah and Lot and being the children of the winter let us always remember Psalms #91. Let us hold dear to God and obey his commandments so that we will be within the circle of pray, with our families and our church members because the world

is getting worse and worse and the terrors day and night walk the earth. As time goes on we will see more destruction and death and the only thing that will save us is if we remain within the circle of pray. Amen.
