President ’s Letter I am either too slow to catch on or too optimistic to have guessed we’d be doing a second conference completely virtually. But we are. And it’s going to be great. We learned a lot in our pandemic year. We’ve learned that it’s almost impossible to sit all day in front of a computer. So this year we give you two shortened days. We have left time for you between some sessions to return phone calls, visit the vendors – or let the dog out. We left popular items alone. Yoga returns as well as Chef Butch. Because we can break into smaller groups, we added a track we didn’t have before, giving you more choices. You have the opportunity with some of our speakers to take a deeper dive in Ask the Expert sessions. While I have the pleasure of welcoming you to the conference, it takes an army to make it happen. Aside from our experts, who make the conference worth attending, everyone on the PGRT Board and most of the committees has a part to play. The marketing committee kept us updated on speakers and registration, the partnership committee secured the underwriting that makes it possible to bring you a reasonably priced learning experience, the program committee found the speakers, the finance team crunched the numbers, and the conference steering committee made it all mesh together. And behind the scenes, our two maestros – Stephanie from Premium Organization and Jim from Q&A Business Solutions – worked the Whova platform and sprinkled magic on everything. So, we are positioned to have a great two days. Visit the vendors, enjoy the speakers, and come away refreshed and excited about the opportunities charitable planned giving offers for your organizations, your clients or your donors.
