COMPLETE KIDSWEAR PROVIDER MELTON A/S is a Danish children’s wear concern that includes four strong brands: MELTON (socks and accessories) Mikk-Line (children’s outerwear) MOVE (children’s shoes) PAPFAR (children’s clothes) All in all, the MELTON Group has at its disposal highly robust skill sets, and all of the concern’s products are characterised by an absolute focus on quality and excellent design.
PROVIDER OF COMFORT AND SECURITY For more than 30 years, we have specialised in designing clothing for active c hildren here at Mikk-Line. We have learned quite a bit in that time. Our basis is our own home country of D enmark. Here in the high North, the changing weather and unpredictable Scandinavian climate places great demands on clothing all year round. And here, we combine our knowledge of m aterials and technology with proud Danish design traditions. The result is carefully thought-out outerwear and accessories of the highest quality that have been created to be used. We’re extreme when it comes to developing functional children’s wear. But we’re also of the belief that our customers shouldn’t need to n otice the technology in our products. They shouldn’t worry about fit and functionality either. Because our tailors and designers have already done that. Our goal is as such quite simple: Parents should be able to send their children out into all kinds of weather with peace of mind in the knowledge that our products take care of them. Because children’s wear isn’t really about materials, technical terms and technology. It’s about play, security and comfort. OUTER LAYER
The BASE Layer draws sweat away from the skin and ensures that the clothes don’t become clammy when on the move. Our BASE Layer is of high-quality Merino wool and feels perfectly soft against the skin.
With a MID Layer, you are insulated against wind and cold. This layer will be more loose-fitting and thereby take full advantage of the body’s heat by trapping the insulated air from the body.
OUTER Layers effectively protect against wind, weather and water. This will keep the child warm and dry - even in harsh conditions.
The BASE Layer is perfect for everyday use or outdoor sports activities.
Often the MID Layer will be used as a transitional style in the early spring or late autumn.
