By Charles Dickens Adapted by Arnie Breen Twas the night before Christmas and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge tells anyone who will listen that it’s all humbug! Later, Scrooge encounters the ghost of his late business partner, who warns that three spirits will visit him this night. The ghosts take Scrooge on a fantastic journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness and teaching him the true meaning of Christmas. BMC performing arts students present their annual pantomime show for all the family, with songs, dances, a lot of laughs and the occasional fright! Come and see if Scrooge learns his lesson or is it really all HUMBUG?!!!!

Credits A musical by Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schonberg Based on the novel by Victor Hugo Music by Claude-Michel Schonberg Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer Original French text by Alain Boubil and JeanMarc Natel Additional Material by James Fenton Orchestrations by John Cameron Original London production directed and adapted by Trevor Nunn and John Caird Original London production by Cameron Mackintosh and The Royal Shakespeare Company
This legendary musical has been specially adapted to meet the needs of young performers. This author-approved edition has been abridged to a running time of just over two hours, while carefully maintaining the integrity of one of the greatest musicals ever written. This epic story recounts the struggle against adversity in 19th century France. Imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread, petty thief Jean Valjean is released from his 19-year term and not only becomes an honest man, but the Mayor of a prosperous town and a loving adoptive father - violating his parole in the process. The relentless Inspector Javert, who makes a decent life for Valjean impossible, consequently pursues him. Only years later, after Valjean proves his mettle during a bloody student uprising and saves the life of a young man hopelessly in love with Valjean’s adopted daughter, does the ex-convict finally feel fully redeemed.

Roy Chubby Brown returns with his meatiest show yet! He’s still rude, he’s still crude and this time he’s turning headlines into punch lines as his rip-roaring brand of banter continues to burst bellies across the country. Chubby doesn’t hold back from sharing his outlandish views on news, women and gender, sailing so close to the mark, even the most seasoned of fans will be left gobsmacked! As politically incorrect as ever ‘The World’s Most Outrageous Comedian’ is far too rude for TV, so this live performance is the only place to catch the flamboyant comedian!
If easily offended please stay away!
