Melville´s Bouillabaisse Recipes for good design and fishsoup

Recipes for good design and fish soup What do a tasty fish soup and tasteful design have in common? They are both composures of delicate ingredients. However the secret is in the mix of the ingredients. By no means is the price for them the key criterion, spending a lot of money does not always guarantee good results; sometimes ordinary – but proven – elements need to be added. Hence the main ingredients that lead to excellent results are passion and experience. That’s true for fish soup as much as it is for good design. Whenever you recall your best meal of fish soup ever - it is likely
that the memory is set in a small tavern by the sea. Hence quality has nothing to do with the size of the restaurant / design bureau but with passion, experience and authenticity. Yet to every recipe there is a secret: An ingredient, a method or the time it takes (fast & fresh or long & thorough) and that secret does not slip out of that kitchen. So it is with (Melville Brand-) Design. It can be ordered and purchased though – and we make sure it is prepared to your individual needs and likings. Bon appetite!

Levi‘s Berlin Unbuttoned June’s edition of German Music magazine INTRO already calls the Levi‘s Unbuttoned Tour „the must-be-there event of the year“ - and that was written before the event. Judging from the design of the poster, we take it? It has gotta be that... The graphic package consists of icon-design, poster, ads, the tickets to the event, t-shirts and the highly exclusive invitations that are meant to be unbuttoned. „making good design is like cooking a cattle of fish“ unknown sailing designer
tablespoons olive oil, 1 onion, chopped, 1 red pepper, chopped, 2 carrots, chopped, pinch of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon mixed dried herbs, salt and pepper, 1 cup white wine, 4 tomatoes, chopped, 3 potatoes, diced, 1 cup water, 1 pound whitefish filets (cod works well), cut into bite-sized pieces, 1/2 pound scallops, 1/3 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup parsley Heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the onion, red pepper, and carrots. Cook for about 5 minutes without browning. Stir in the cayenne, herbs, salt, and pepper. Then add the white wine and tomatoes and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes, cover, and cook for 10 minutes. Add the water and cook uncovered until the potatoes are just done, about 5 minutes. Stir in the fish and the scallops and cook another five minutes or just until the fish is cooked through. Stir in the heavy cream and parsley and serve hot.

The Melville Team We are six men in a boat out for the big catch. Outstanding, normbreaking and tasteful graphic design that is. Our mothership the Pequod is in persue of our fast and slim approach to back us. If the catch ahead is manyfold or espacially huge we can rely on an armada of further boatmen and crews.
