GREENFOLDER STORIES

What sets Baltimore Country Club apart from other country clubs? Our people! Our staff members take every step to go above and beyond to accomplish our Simple Truth: Great People Make Favorite Places. Often, there are easy ways to make a positive impression on our members from saying happy birthday to congratulations on an award. However, not being afraid to make the big gestures is what distinguishes us.

How can you participate in our Simple Truth? Help gather Member-able Moments by connecting to our membership on a personal level. Ask about their likes, desires, interests, and hobbies. Finding common ground helps build a connection and foundation to create a relationship.

Act on any ideas for how to create a positive impact on a member, guest, vendor, or fellow staff member! Every impact, regardless of size, is essential to the Simple Truth. Anything from a simple card to a grand care package helps to further our Truth. If you need assistance creating a grand gesture, contact Director of Member Experience Abby Michael at mmichael@bcc1898.com.

Lastly, we love sharing these stories of the Simple Truth! Submit your Simple Truth experience by filling out the Green Folder Stories form, located at the bottom of the Park & Farms email, in Park & Farms, the staff webpage, or scan the QR codes in the staff breakrooms. BCC encourages all members to submit their own or fellow staff members' Green Folder Stories.

In December, we had a holiday initiative to help any staff member who might need Christmas assistance. We would like to thank all staff members that contributed to our Helping Hands Foundation or brought in a toy.

We were able to provide presents for thirty children this year! We received pictures and videos of some children opening and playing with their gifts. While we can’t share those due to confidentiality requirements, we want to let you know how much joy your contributions brought.

Helping Hands is funded by contributions made by our staff. You can contribute $1 per paycheck or higher.

If you can contribute, know that it is greatly appreciated. If you find yourself in need of assistance, please reach out to us at helpinghand@bcc1898.com. All inquiries are completely confidential.

Thank you, Your Helping Hands Foundation
