Abstract The mobile Internet of things on the ocean is significant for the development of marine economy. Meanwhile, the existing systems, such as AIS and LRIT, can’t meet the requirement of the mobile Internet of things. After analyzing weaknesses of them, it is found that the poor capacity of ocean communication is the stick point to build the Internet of things on the ocean. Then, the proposal based on the COFDM technology for improving it is put forward. By upgrading the analog shortwave radios into highspeed digital radios with the audio modem, a fundamental architecture for the Internet of things on the ocean can be built. At last, a way based on software-defined radio to realize the proposal is introduced, and the technical characteristics together with prospect of the technology are revealed. 基于短波数据通信的海上移动物联网 张逸驰,杨雷 东南大学 信息科学与工程学院,江苏 南京 211189 摘 要:从发展海洋经济的角度出发,分析了物联网从陆地拓展到海洋的意义。针对现有海上物联网系统 AIS 和 LRIT, 指明了其缺点和改进的必要性,得出构建海上物联网关键在于提升海洋通信能力的结论。在对目前船舶通信状况分析的 基础上,提出利用基于 COFDM 技术的话带调制解调器将模拟的船用短波电台扩充为较高速的船用数据电台的方案,为 构建高速、稳定、经济的“海上物联网”建立远洋短波数字通信的基本架构。论证了该方案的可行性,展示了它的技术 特色和应用前景。 关键词:海上物联网;短波通信;无线话带;COFDM;AIS

引言 1999 年,美国麻省理工学院(MIT)Auto-ID 中心首次提出“The Internet of Things”即“物联网” 一词,来描述把计算机通过网络连接到真实传感器网络的世界 [1]。2005 年,国际电信联盟(ITU)发布了题 为《The Internet of Things》的年度报告,对物联网的概念进行了扩展,提出物联网是通过 RFID 和智能 计算等技术实现全世界设备互连的网络 [2] 。然而,这样的定义在信息技术等领域仍稍欠准确。为此,东 南大学吴乐南把物联网定义为支撑采集型通信的网络和互联业务 [3] ,较为准确地概括了物联网在各个领 域的发展。 目前我国物联网在安防、电力、交通、物流、医疗、环保等领域应用模式正日趋成熟。“在安防领 域,视频监控、周界防入侵等应用已取得良好效果;在电力行业,远程抄表、输变电监测等应用正在逐步 拓展;在交通领域,路网监测、车辆管理和调度等应用正在发挥积极作用;在物流领域,物品仓储、运 输、监测应用广泛推广;在医疗领域,个人健康监护、远程医疗等应用日趋成熟。除此之外,物联网在环 -218http://www.sj-ce.org/
