The activities will be divided into two phases subsequent, to which it will correspond an articulation of the contractual supply into two lots: Lot 1: Feasibility study: In the first phase of the activities, an analysis of the technical solutions will be carried out adoptable (risk reduction studies or feasibility study) during the which will be analyzed in detail the possible technical solutions achievable to meet the related requirements (summarized in the Specification Technique). At the end of this phase, the Defense Administration (CEO) will have a series of drawings and documents that will describe, for each solution examined, the relative pros and cons, both in operational and economic terms, on the the basis of which the CEO will decide which solution needs to be developed as part of the next phase.; Lot 2: Definition of the project: In this phase the Contractor (i.e. subject who will enter into the contract of supply of the studies in question), having taken note of the decisions taken by the CEO, will elaborate the details necessary for the definition and optimization of the final configuration chosen (Study of the configuration chosen) and will proceed with the development of a basic, comprehensive design platform systems, sensors and communications, which it will take into account of the results of the studies and of the transversal aspects of whole warship for the drafting of the Technical Specifications (SS.TT.) describing the UU.NN. forementioned. At the end of the second phase (Definition of the project), the CEO will have to have of a series of drawings, documents and SS.TT. preliminaries that will define the characteristics of the UU.NN. with enough detail to be able to proceed the signing of an acquisition contract.
