THE NEW CREDENTIAL FOR HR PROFESSIONALS Do you want to earn professional credentials, identifying yourself as an expert in the human resource field in just 14 weeks? In just one semester at Mercyhurst you will be prepared to pass the SHRM-CPTM or SHRM-SCPTM certification exam and be the first in your field to earn the new credential. The certification preparation course, taught at Mercyhurst by a Certified HR Professional, helped test takers surpass the national exam pass rate by 25 percent last year (The national exam pass rate averages 60 percent, while professionals enrolled in Mercyhurst’s preparation course demonstrated an 85 percent pass rate). Taught on campus during
convenient evening hours, the SHRM course will not only enhance your education, but will continue to grow the HR field worldwide. This unique graduate course utilizes the SHRM Learning System to helps students streamline study time, accelerate learning and build confidence to pass the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam. To be eligible to take the exam applicants must either log 1,000 hours of HR experience in a calendar year, which is equivalent to one year’s experience in a human resources position. SHRM membership is not required to earn the new SHRM certification.
