The landscape of today’s workplace is fast-paced, changefilled, globalized and diverse. Leaders face new challenges — becoming more sensitive, flexible and adaptive to the demands and expectations of stakeholders, customers, supervisors and even employees. Because of these changes, many organizations have abandoned the traditional topdown hierarchical management structures and replaced them with more “organic” and fluid forms.

Leadership development through the Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) teaches students how to adapt to this new paradigm better than most MBA programs because of the nature of the courses offered. MSOL empowers its graduate students with leadership skills that prepare them to create direction, alignment and commitment within an organization in order to achieve shared goals. Courses are available on campus and online.

Information about fees, financial facts, graduate assistantships and employment, veteran’s benefits, as well as, scholarships, grants and students loans may be obtained through the Office of Graduate Admissions.
CONCENTRATIONS
Concentrations may also be taken as a 12-credit graduate certificate. Certificate holders may later choose to apply their credits toward the master’s degree.
ACCOUNTING
This concentration is ideal for those who wish to pursue the Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) exam. Students often earn the certificate simultaneously while studying for each CPA exam.
HIGHER EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
Due to the complexity of leadership roles within higher education, it is often necessary for individuals to pursue advanced degrees. This concentration examines the many facets of higher education including history, policies, and emerging issues.

SPORTS LEADERSHIP
Any athletic coach, whether employed at the collegiate, scholastic or professional level, is automatically inserted into a leadership role. But, because leadership is a learned skill, MSOL provides a concentration specifically for those who need to improve their understanding of this complex responsibility.
STRATEGY AND INNOVATION
This concentration focuses on the actions that leaders take to enable organizations to execute innovations for increased value and growth. Students explore how leaders create and evaluate opportunities, develop analytical capabilities, and implement strategies to achieve success.
