Our talented team of professionals serve our Clients within the United States and internationally from five offices strategically located in the Mid Atlantic region with offices in Columbia, MD; Salisbury, MD; Pittsburgh, PA; Dover, DE and Zelienople, PA. Allen & Shariff Corporation, LLC provides project management services in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; currently managing over $2 Billion of hospital construction. We are looking to raise $1.25m of Preferred Equity to retire existing Company debt as part of our focus to position the firm for an exit in the next 3-5 years. W IL LIA M “ B ILL” JACKSON Title: Operations Manager Middle East Year of Hire: 2012 Accreditations: MS: Environmental Science and Engineering – Virginia Tech MA: Urban Affairs Mr. Jackson is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Middle East office as well as ensuring that projects are delivered successfully by the ASC project teams. Bill has over 35 years of healthcare experience ranging from strategic inception to project turnover to the client. His experience includes architectural firms: Ellerbe and HDR, PM firms: Vanir, Heery and his own PM firm, consulting firms: INNOVA Group and Chi Systems, and key positions in healthcare planning and construction at two major academic medical centers (University of Miami and Wake Forest/Baptist Hospital). He has consulted at over 50 hospitals and planned and put in place over 4.0 million square feet of hospital and research space.

As Senior Vice President, Mr. Van der Vossen is responsible for the overall technical design of his projects, as well as for the coordination of the work of the engineers, designers, and CADD operators on his team. He is also responsible for consulting with the local regulatory agencies for conformance of his design to standards and for conducting system analysis and comparisons with regard to economical and functional considerations. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA). Mr. Van der Vossen is also a Certified GeoExchange Designer (CGD) and a LEED Accredited Professional.

JO HN HOSSIC K Title: Vice President of Allen & Shariff Engineering, LLC Year of Hire: 1995 Accreditations: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering – University of Maryland – 1980, Registered Professional Engineer in MD, WV, NC, DC, OH, FL John Hossick is the Vice President of Engineering for Allen & Shariff in Columbia, MD and the Department Head of the Housing/Hospitality Group. He has 30+ years of experience in the engineering design and management of various projects for both new construction and renovation. He is responsible for the design, coordination and review of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems for projects including energy management and control systems, sprinkler and HVAC systems (Energy Analysis evaluations for all types of systems). Projects vary from mixed -use facilities, data centers, corporate office buildings, universities, multi-family housing, commercial, and institutional facilities. In addition to each assigned project, Mr. Hossick also manages project engineers, designers and draftsman on a daily basis.

DAVID P R IC E Title: Senior Vice President Year of Hire: 1997 Accreditations: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering – West Virginia University – 1996 Registered Professional Engineer in PA, MD Mr. Price has over 16 years of experience in mechanical engineering. David joined Allen & Shariff Corporation in 1997 in the corporate headquarters and led the initiative to open an office in Pittsburgh. He is now a comanager of the Pittsburgh Office, and he manages the Pittsburgh Mechanical group. David is responsible for project management and design of mechanical systems. He has completed new buildings and renovation of various building types including corporate office, higher education, multi-family, data centers, healthcare, industrial, retail, restaurants, hotel, transit, and non-profit. As a Senior Vice President, David ensures that high quality and practical professional services are provided and that corporate goals, objectives, and plans are effectively executed.

Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) Gregorio joined Allen & Shariff Engineering in 2007 and has over 25 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design. He is a Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD), and a LEED Green Associate (LEED GA). As co-manager of the Pittsburgh office Gregorio leads the plumbing department, and his project experience covers a wide range of projects including corporate office, higher education, multi-family, retail, restaurants, hotel and non-profit. Gregorio brings his strong marketing and client relations skills to the foreground as a Vice President of the company. His responsibilities include developing new and diverse business opportunities for the company consistent with the overall corporate marketing plan. His skills in all marketing aspects are a mainstay of the success of the office. Gregorio’s project management skills allow him to plan and execute projects proficiently and cost effectively, and to convey the direction and goals of the project to the team to insure achievement of both the client’s and the company’s objectives. Gregorio has enhanced the company’s external corporate image through his active participation and leadership in professional organizations. He is a current member, past President, and past Vice President Technical of the Pittsburgh Chapter of ASPE, and is also a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Over the past few years, Greg has assisted in teaching a Plumbing Merit Badge class for the Boy Scouts of America. He also volunteers teaching a plumbing review class to Architectural Registration Examination candidates. In his remaining spare time, Gregorio’s personal interests are traveling, gardening, biking, cooking, and fishing. He is also fluent in Italian and has been able to assist other firms that have worked in Italy with translating documents and acting as an interpreter.
