Heartland Juror: Cris Chapin

Originally from Wellington, Cris Chapin now lives in Lawrence. She still travels back and forth to visit family and drives by the beautiful Flint Hills in all seasons. Chapin captures that sense of wonder and beauty with pastel landscapes. Chapin graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in art education, textile design, and graphic design. She later discovered a love for soft pastels and landscape painting.
