INFORMATION FOR VISITORS: MATERIAL ANALYSIS

Welcome to the world of insights. 23rd International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology and analytica Conference April 17–20, 2012 l Messe München l www.analytica.de

Know-how for daily challenges in laboratories and quality assurance Developing innovative materials calls for interdisciplinary collaboration from chemists, physicists, biologists, engineers and technicians wherever research, development, analysis and approval come together. Legal guidelines as well as ecological and economic considerations must also be taken into account. The almost unlimited application sectors and potential uses for modern and functional materials in particular are what make this sector so interesting. The spectrum ranges from medical equipment and consumer goods to high-tech industrial products in the electronics and automotive industries.

Material analysis at analytica analytica 2012 lives up to this demanding profile with exhibits that include future-oriented analysis and test equipment. It gives you important impetus for your daily laboratory tasks—from sample preparation to evaluation techniques. • Material and substance research • Instrumental analysis and modern testing techniques • Calibration and certification • Surface technologies • Coating technology • Damage research and assessment • Product and environmental safety • Nanotechnologies

Special highlight in 2012: Live Labs Live Lab: Plastics Analysis (Hall B1)

N L i v e E W: Labs

For the first time ever, analytica will present three exciting Live Labs on various subject blocks in 2012. The Live Lab on plastics analysis will feature a completely equipped laboratory for polymer analysis. There will be plenary sessions and experiment presentations three times a day. Well-known manufacturers will present and explain innovative equipment systems as well as specific applications that are used for material analysis in actual operation. The focus is on polymer analysis. A3
