Special highlight in 2012: Live Labs For the first time ever, analytica 2012 will feature completely equipped laboratory worlds with live demonstrations on each day of the fair. Topics are: • Forensics & Medical Diagnostics (Hall A3) • Plastics analysis (Hall B1) • Food and water analysis (Hall B2) International market leaders will present their products and solutions—live and in real laboratory surroundings. From sample preparation and measuring to evaluating the results, as a visitor you will get a compact look at the latest processes and techniques. The Live Labs also feature three experiment demonstrations on each day of the fair. These live demonstrations will also be broadcast in the Forums in Halls A3 and B2.
: NEWabs L L i ve The Live Labs are your invitation to exchange ideas and information with manufacturers directly at the fair, have them explain new products to you and discuss specific applications. The laboratory benches will be equipped with all the classic laboratory products, from analysis scales to chromatographs. On the first day of the fair, the Live Lab on Forensics and Medical Diagnostics will feature Mark Benecke, Germany’s best-known criminal biologist. In the Biotech Forum in Hall A3, the expert in the field of forensic entomology will demonstrate how the latest DNA analysis techniques can be used to draw conclusions about crimes and criminal, among other things.
