Printed electronics—the future industry
Printed electronics are conductive plastics or inks that are printed onto large surfaces such as films, paper or textiles at low cost. The result: Extremely thin and flexible applications like touch sensors, flexible displays, solar cells, luminescent films or smart labels. Printed electronics is a promising, rapidly growing branch of industry. LOPEC’s success reflects this growth. It is the industry’s leading platform for initiating new projects— a marketplace where knowledge and theory meet practice and industry. Establishing new business ties has always been the special focus of the exhibition.

Stephan Berlitz, Head of Lighting Innovations and Functions, AUDI “Printed electronics has a great deal of potential to offer the automotive industry. For AUDI, LOPEC is the most important platform in Europe when it comes to working together with science and industry to further promote development of our OLED.”

The industry gathers at LOPEC Participants from around the world, from various sectors and both from industry and research come together at LOPEC. They all have one thing in common, namely a truly innovative technology. The pioneer spirit and genuine passion are tangible here. That builds strong relationships—something you do not want to miss. Business alternatives—LOPEC showcases a number of exemplary printed electronics products. They are impressive and a genuine experience! The exhibition is also a place where collaboration partners come together for innovative projects. Together they explore new territory and expand the range of applications for printed electronics. Industry community—Those who work with printed electronics or are planning to do so in the future have to be part of LOPEC. This is where the future is made. Which is why every visitor and exhibitor is a member of a knowledge and business community with great prospects.

Supporting program—the live experience The supporting program makes printed electronics something people can touch and understand—from the production process to real applications. That brings printed electronics to life, especially for newcomers. And it allows visitors to exchange information based on their experience. Another important element is networking. Special platforms give upcoming companies a chance to show what they are capable of. They also give participants an opportunity to get to know one another and exchange ideas and information outside the official exhibition.
Highlight: Demo Line
Demo Line: One of the highlights of every LOPEC is a spectacular example of a printed electronics product—produced live at the exhibition. Innovation Show Case: LOPEC’s platform for product innovations and prototypes. Introductory events: First-time visitors are not entirely on their own at LOPEC. We organize special lectures, followed by target groupspecific tours of the fair. LOPEC Forum: The Start-up Forum and the Exhibitor Forum focus on new, innovative companies and exhibitors.
