The Gabrielson Clinic For Women will also be providing full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology Services. Additionally, we will be able to provide many services we haven’t had the ability to provide in our former clinic such as Radiology & Ultrasound services, Social Service/Mental Health Services, Specialty Provider Services for Podiatry and Orthopedics. Dr. John Swisher DO, CAQ, FAAFP “I’m an Iowa native who went to undergraduate at ISU, medical school in Des Moines, and trained at a University of Iowa residency program. I completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Minnesota and had the opportunity to work and learn from team physicians for the Minnesota Vikings, Gophers, and Twins.” “My practice in Webster City is diverse, and involves newborn infant care through the Geriatric age distribution. I take care of most medical concerns and have an obvious special interest in sports or orthopedic-related injuries and/or impairments. My practice style involves actively investigating my patient’s concerns and being thorough when it comes to their care regardless if acute, chronic, or preventative in nature. We are blessed to have moved to our new building as it will allow for improved patient flow, privacy, and diagnostics.” Kristen Davison: Kristen has been a family practice Physician Assistant for seven years. She has always practiced here in Webster City; originally at Advanced Family Medicine, a small private medical clinic with only five exam rooms. This new clinic is much bigger with 20+ exam rooms. “This is a very different feel just on the size of the space alone from the small clinic I started working in, but at ISH we strive to keep that personal care and connection to all of our patients. I love going down the hall and greeting patients or peek out to say hello when I hear familiar voices in the hallway.The expansion provides our patients the opportunity to get X-rays and ultrasound imaging completed, get lab work drawn, see a variety of specialists, including orthopedic, podiatry, dermatology, behavioral health, OB/ Gyn for further consultation and management of problems all in one location, right here in Webster City. “ Kristen sees all ages from newborn babies to end-of-life care; including annual physicals and well child checks to common illness and acute injuries to management of chronic conditions. Amy McDaniel, Belmond CEO: “We are so excited to enhance our partnership with the Gabrielson Clinic for Women and combine our clinic offerings into one convenient location in the Webster City community. We are also pleased to be able to expand those clinic offerings to include visiting specialties as well as laboratory and radiology services.” 14

Kari Patten is another one of our Family Medicine Physician Assistants. She was born and raised in Webster City like her sister, Kristen, who she gets to work alongside. “My favorite part of the new clinic is that although the atmosphere in the clinic is small and friendly, creating a family-like feel, we’re able to provide not only general medicine care but also give our patients access to several exceptional specialists right here in Webster City. Having specialties including OB-Gyn, dermatology, orthopedics and podiatry in our clinic routinely, our patients are able to save time not having to travel as far but get the additional expertise that you would expect from a big city.” Kari has been a Physician Assistant for the past four years and sees all ages of patients from the 3-day-old infant to the elderly. She is able to perform all visit types, including infant and well child visits, well female and male exams, acute illnesses and injuries, and the management of chronic medical conditions. “We love getting to see and care for new families, not only taking care of them when they are well for routine exams, but also having accessible care from someone they are familiar with when a little one gets sick or someone suffers an injury.” Dr. Gabrielson, DO, FACOOG: “GCW has had tremendous growth so when the opportunity to join ISH in a larger new office was offered it made perfect sense. For a hospital system like ISH to embrace a small OBGYN private practice it shows good faith. Our treatment of patient-first focus is second to none and ISH understands what that commitment really means! You can now come to see your OBGYN and family practice provider at one place. Along with those providers Trisha Bartlett, PA, dermatology, ultrasound services, lab services, and hopefully additional specialists will be available. Trisha Bartlett’s story: “As a Physician Assistant trained in Dermatology, it has been a privilege to serve Webster City and our surrounding communities for over 14 years. My goal is to help patients achieve healthy skin through all stages of their lives. I provide a wide range of medical and cosmetic dermatology services. This includes full body skin exams, skin cancer treatment, addressing various skin conditions, acne management, chemical peels and Botox cosmetic. The new clinic not only allows me the space to work more efficiently but is a more welcoming atmosphere for the patient experience as well.”
