For the last 40 years, Bom Futuro has operated the largest John Deere farm in the world. Collaborating directly with their equipment maintenance team, VISCOSITY has been able to formulate and test a complete suite of products that are guaranteed to perform as well or better than the OEM brand, with pricing that keeps operations profitable.

THE CHALLENGE

Our customers wanted to extend the drain interval. The test consisted of replacing the mineral-based lubricant with the formula of VISCOSITY Unitraction* a product with differentiated characteristics and innovative additives to provide us with the best result.

The test was done using EVERLUB Diagnostics, with samples collected at intervals of approximately 200 hours, seeking the analysis of:

THE APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT IN THE BOM FUTURO FLEET

24 samples were tested in 3 different types of JD equipment:

•Tractor 335 HP = 1.109 hrs

•Cotton Harverster = 641 hrs

•Cotton Harverster = 544 hrs

With almost 3,000 hours of field testing with sampling and laboratory analysis, the results were successful:

•Tractors standardized in 1000 hours of change.

• Harvesting combines standardized in 600 hours** of change.

THE RESULTS WERE ASTONISHING

With a fleet of 983 JD machines, Bom Futuro can achieve 590k running hours using UNITRACTION products

The in-service fluid viscosity and additive metal retention, as well as lack of wear metal content will exceed competitive fluid results
