PREPARATION
Starting 1 month before the event
Submit construction and exhibition passes. Send guest invitations. Post your media releases at https://www.emessukeskus.com/ Reach the media and deliver print versions to the Press Center.
Remember to also activate your company's own marketing channels.
DELIVERY
Check transaction-specific orders and shipments. Review the goals and activities planned with your event staff. Visit the Exhibition Office to place additional orders.
DURING THE EVENT
Pay attention to event visitors. Motivate your department staff. Attend to stand visitors.
AFTER THE EVENT
Collect visitor feedback. Review results and evaluate performance against set goals. Book your stand at a lower rate and well in advance for your next event.

We are at the forefront of sustainability in the events industry. As the first Finnish event organiser, we achieved the ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification back in 2009. We also hold the ISO 9001:2015 certification and the Sustainable Travel Finland mark awarded by Visit Finland.
Sustainability is integral to our strategy. We take responsibility for people, the environment, and economic sustainability. By 2029, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality. We also assist our clients in adopting responsible practices. We align our sustainability efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As pioneers in the field, we published an SDGbased sustainability report in 2020. Here are some of our sustainability initiatives.
Energy-Efficient Event Venue
Our solar power plant increases the use of renewable energy in our operations. Moreover, we implement solutions for carbonsmart building technology: CO2-free electricity, geothermal energy, district cooling, heat recovery, and LED technology.
99 % of Waste Reused
All our spaces facilitate recycling. We encourage visitors to sort their exhibition waste! Our eco-points separate paper and cardboard, organic waste, wood waste, glass, plastics, metal waste, and carpets. Afterward, we ensure their efficient recycling and reutilisation.
Sustainably, of course
Together with our restaurant service partner, NoHo Partners, we combat food waste and have reduced our water consumption by half. We prioritise organic and locally sourced food. Our tap water is of high quality, so bring your own water bottle to Messukeskus!
Safe Working Environment
We ensure that Messukeskus provides a safe working environment for both customers and our staff. As the first Finnish event organiser, we obtained the international SHORE certification, validating our outstanding safety practices and risk management in our facilities.

STAND PACKAGE
Get to know also our standard and profile stand packages. A stand package includes carpet tiles, spotlights, fascia, fascia text, a socket and electricity consumption up to 3.6 kW.
In a stand package with standard structure, the walls and fascia are white hardboard. It is possible to attach light items with screws and nails. Just remember to remove these after the exhibition.
In the profile structure alternative, the wall and fascia structure material consists of aluminium- profile frame and white board. It is possible to attach decorations to the profile structure using removable tape. Remember to remove the tape after the exhibition. Decoration hooks can be used to hang paintings and posters.
Please note, that the price of the stand packages does not include space rental for the event.

You have at your disposal skilled carpenters for customized finishes, as well as several options for ready made stand structures: a clear standard structure, a traditional aluminum profile and a stylish Molto structure. We take full care of your complete stand solution, including furniture, lighting, AV technology, suspensions, graphics and decoration.
Visualization utilizes the latest technology, so you always have illustrative images of the exhibition stand. Our designers utilize all communications and orders from partners, allowing you to focus on your message and customers.

PROFILE STRUCTURES
Our profile structures have several width, height and shape options. The base material is aluminum profile frame and white plate. There are six variations of the color chart to choose from for an additional fee. Acrylic sheets and paint finishes are also available on request. Special shades, such as the colors of your company are also available. The profile structures can be fitted with decorations with a removable label (removed after the show) or with decoration hooks. The profile structure and the standard structure are separate structures that cannot be combined. Remember to send an installation drawing showing the locations of the products in the stand.

Profile structures are 100% reusable. When the structure breaks down, it is also recycled through melting for 100% reuse.
STANDARD STRUCTURES
The standard wall panels are white painted hardboard. Light objects can be easily attached to them with stickers, screws or nails, which must be removed after the exhibition. The profile structure and the standard structure are separate structures that cannot be combined. We also paint the standard wall elements according to the customer’s request with different colors in standard or special colors. You can specify a special color according to the Tikkurila Symphony color map.

Our selection includes several different tile and roll carpets. The tile carpet is reused and is therefore an ecological option.
Prices include installation, rent and removal. The price includes the vacuum cleaning and the removal of protective plastic before the exhibition. Request a quote for orders over 100 m2. An elevated floor allows cable, hose and pipe penetrations to the appropriate locations in your stand. You can coat an elevated floor with the material of your choice.

RIGGINGS
Lightweight suspension points are for flags, banners and other decorations. The maximum load is 15 kg / suspension point. Suspensions for decorations can be ordered in halls 2-6. It is not possible to install lightweight suspension points in halls 1 and 7.
The truss suspension point is intended not only for truss suspension but also for other heavy products (over 15 kg / point). The truss suspension point does not include a chain hoist or other suspension accessories, but these can be ordered separately or you can bring your own.

LIGHTING
Lighting is one of the most important features of a successful stand. A well-lit stand stands out and attracts customers to explore your products. In our range of luminaires you will find lighting solutions that are suitable for your exhibition stand. The price of the various lighting includes rent, installation and dismantling after the event. The cost for truss lighting includes the aiming of the stand lights.

ELECTRICITY
A power outlet and electricity consumption (16A 230V 3.6kW) are included in the Exhibition Start which is in use for several events. All stand solutions from Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre also include a power outlet and power consumption (16A 230V 3.6kW). Ceiling-mounted sockets are ordered separately, see Electrical Installations from Hall Ceiling. Check the power requirement for electrical equipment used in the stand. Sockets include power consumption.

DECORATION | GREEN PLANTS AND FLOWERS
Green plants and flowers provide a fresh and atmospheric environment for meeting customers and networking. Renting green plants is inexpensive and easy - with Ambius professionals, you create a stand for your customers to enjoy. Ambius will deliver and pick up the plants on the agreed day and will ensure that they are in good condition throughout the event. Plants are delivered in pots.

The Giant Ball Package includes natural rubber giant balls printed in one ink on each side of the ball, filled with safe helium gas and delivered to to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre during the morning or afternoon. HPAC SERVICES
Do you need water, drainage or compressed air for your stand? Plumbing installations required by your furniture and appliances are easily accessible to your stand. If you wish, you can also order a complete furniture solution with the necessary connections included in the price of the furniture. Please note that HVAC installations require a technical service trap at the stand or technical site.

The National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health Valvira has specified the quality control of drinking water at events.
In the future, the water fittings and connection hoses used in the distribution of drinking water must be disinfected before use. The instructions and obligation to self-monitoring apply to event organisers as well as companies participating in events. Compliance with the instructions is monitored by the City of Helsinki’s Food Safety Unit.
When you order water fittings through us, we take care of disinfection for you. If you use your own water fittings at the event, we ask you to take care of disinfecting the water fittings and connection hoses. Disinfection can also be purchased as an additional service through us through our partner Are Oy

CLEANING
The cleanliness of the stand is an important part of meeting at the fair. The SOL staff at the fair will be happy to take responsibility for the cleanliness and comfort of your stand
Cleaning includes wiping free desk surfaces, vacuuming or damp cleaning of floors, and emptying litter bins. The agreed cleanliness level for the booth is guaranteed when cleaning starts before 22:00 the night before the opening day.

Our competent restaurant partner, NoHo Partners, is responsible for Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre’s delicious and impressive servings: Please place fair catering orders no later than a week before the start of the event. Pre-ordered products will be delivered to your stand daily before the fair opens, or at another ordered time. Please note that bringing your own alcoholic beverages into the serving area is prohibited (Alcohol Act). The serving of alcohol is also the responsibility of our restaurant partner.
