Greetings to the members of Dark Funeral and be welcome to this Cuban rock magazine. For me is a big pleasure can do it this interview. First question. When and where arises the band? How are their actually members? Lord Ahriman) Dark funeral was formed in Stockholm, Sweden 1993. The current line-up consists of Me Lord Ahriman on Guitars (founder), Heljarmadr on Vocals, and Chaq Mol on Guitars & Dominator on Drums. For the moment we have session bassists for Live shows only. As we know the band was formed in 1993. From this year to the present many members has left the band and others entered. Why? Lord Ahriman) Life and priorities have changes for some, while others wanted to settle down and stop living in a suitcase, which it basically means when you're part of a touring band. Fortunately life also moves on, even though in different directions. Personally I'm still following my own dark vision. And as long as the inner fire is burning and I'm alive, I have no plans to put Dark Funeral to rest! How

Lord Ahriman) when I write music I follow my own darkness and my inner demons. In 2004 you played by first time in Israel and later in other countries like Russia and Ukraine. How do you remember your first presentation in a country like Israel? Lord Ahriman) I have only but great memories from those shows. I love going to countries no one else plays, and/or just playing new countries for the very first time. Tell us something about your legal problems with No Fashion Records (NFR). What was the cause of the problem? Lord Ahriman) Sorry, but that is an old and buried story! Thinks Dark Funeral that Internet is a good platform that helps to that many bands comes out? Or otherwise is a means that harm to this world? Lord Ahriman) Both yes and no. Internet makes it easy for new band to put up their music for people to enjoy, but on the other hand it's also easier now than ever to drown amongst the zillions of other bands that do the same. So in a way I guess it's harder for new bands to reach out, but as long as your band are
offering something unique, that stands out from the rest, it can be a very good platform. Our country was visited by many rock´s band. In 2005 came Audioslave, in 2008 came Sepultura. The last year came The Dead Daisies in February, CJ Ramone in August and ZZ Top on December. In March of this year came The Rolling Stones. Have think Dark Funeral to come to Cuba any time? Lord Ahriman) We would obviously love to play Cuba. When we played the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise a few years ago, we could see the cost of Cuba from the ship, which were sailing from Florida Cayman Island. But anyway, if there's a Cuban promoter reading this, please get in touch with out booking agency Continental Concert and see what can be arranged! Two last questions. How Dark Funeral see the future of the band? What Dark Funeral thinks about the future of the rock music in general? Lord Ahriman) With the new album "Where Shadows Forever Reign" coming out shortly I see a great future for the band. I think it offers something really unique and since it's out most diverse and dynamic album to date. I hope and think it will attract more people to listen and enjoy the hellish work of to Dark funeral. Well, Dark Funeral thanks for your time and for answer this questions. From the Cuban scene The idea of creating Mortuory arises for the 2003, but due to some members' uncertainty, shortage of resources, besides technical problems, it is not up to 2006 that debut. The initial idea of the band was to make a very extreme grindgore, but for several aspects unaware to their members this is not materialized and when you they gave to know they practiced a brutal very intense deathgrind. Always emphasizing in their letters the thematic one sexual, something that it characterizes to the group, although in that time it fused with something of gore; even so never they felt satisfied. The alignment of the band before the premiere was; Mario Hill like vowel, Rolando Góngora like bass, (these two never ended up being presented with the band) Rubén King and Yixan Muñoz in the guitars and the drums it was recorder. After the presentation of these two members the band was to 50%, then they were united Yohanny Borrero (the black one) as vowel, Rubén passed to bass and an invited guitarist was looked for that it accompanied them for the premiere and a long season, this was Antonio Reyes (guitar of Butcher) until the entrance later on of Alejandro Rodríguez like official guitarist. With this alignment the band has settled down and it achieved their musical path. They were presented inside and it was of the city in national festivals, in rocks and other events. The band has three we give CD, the Rustic Sex, recording in the 2007 and the Gore Sex of 2008 and at the end of the 2011 it was carried out the demo Unharmony Sex, more a Demo in direct of its presentation in the Rockmerias 2013. And now to principle of the 2015 was made a disk combinatory with the best topics of we give them previous with bonus included track. They have very extensive repertoire of topics, although in the direct ones they always try to play those that satisfy their musical likes, bowed toward the gore-noise-grind-core. In 2011 the band was able to participate in the one it Split-up-covers "Gods of Desolation", under the stamp VICERAL VOMIT RECORDS, of Costa Rica, next to the bands Smoriak (Brutal Death Metal - Mexico) and Antropofectus (Death Metal - Brazil), and it was distributed in several countries like Mexico, Cuba, Germany, U.S, Holland, Spain, Australia, Indonesia, etc. It would be also valid to include that they have had the support of a reduced group of people that from their modest work position and very underground has collaborated with us. To all them our most sincere gratefulness. At the moment the alignment of the band is: Pablo Alberto Rodríguez Towers in the bass and voice, Enmanuel Andrés Leyva in the drums, Musical concept: it is captured in their music that is known as grind-core a gender something atypical in the Cuban rock scene that is identified by their speed, sound besides the guttural voice. Greetings to the members of Flight 505 and be welcome to this Cuban rock magazine. Is a pleasure can do it this interview. To beginning. Why the name of Flight 505? Any special meaning? Good, the first thing to be appreciated that you contact us from so far. It is a honor that you notice us from such a musical earth as Cuba. The name of the band comes from a song of Rolling Stones called Flight 505 of its album Aftermath 1966. We liked because the history of that song counts the life of somebody that wants to change life and that he/she needs a change, it wants to spend it well and for he/she calls it to the girl of the airline and it requests a note for the flight 505. Although it doesn't know very well to where the fact goes of taking the airplane it already makes him feel very well. When and where arises Flight 505? Who are their actually members? Where they are from? The band begins to be formed at the end of 2013. RubĂŠn (vocalist and guitar) it begins to recruit to the "crew". At once we unite to the project Ivan (drummer), Chema (bass) and me, David (guitar). RubĂŠn took many years playing and composing in other bands; Chema and Ivan had played together also in other local formations and me the truth it is that it was lost playing in classic orchestras and having other experiences more far from the rock and roll, less bad than they rescued me!
How many CD´s do you have made until now? How the process of recording and edition was? The truth is that we only have a disk in the market! The CD is called “Turbulences” (2015) and for us it is incredible the repercussion that we have had being such a young band with a first CD. The recording made it in Pamplona in the studies R5. We put on in the teacher's hands Kolibri Diaz to the one that for sure you know to be guitarist of Tide, one of the most important rock bands in the national panorama and the result has been unbeatable. For us it has been incredible to have the experience of "Kolibri" in the production and recording of the disk, and with the support of the Dromedary Records captained by Alen Ayerdi (drummer of Tide) for their diffusion and promotion. Besides that are some professionals of first line they have treated us as a family and whenever we can we thank them the affection that they offered us in the whole process of recording of our disk. How do you define your music? Because with this question if that don't dare, jajajaja. The truth is that personally I don't like to classify to a group inside a style and if you listen our disk I find directly impossible because you will listen a heap of styles and influences. What I can tell you is that the songs sing them in Spanish (at the moment, jajajaja) and that the best thing is that you listen the disk and that each one serves their conclusion. Which have the main influences of the group been when composing their songs? The composition process relapses mainly so in Rubén he would be the most suitable to answer, but how band I will tell you that at the end you always look at yourself in the most classic groups, in the Stones, in Chuck Berry ...Yo is of
those that think that the influences go changing with the time and with the personality of each one. You sometimes have a season more rocker and another flamenco or more Latin one. In the music so heterogeneous that we make us for sure you can find fragments that will remember to people's heap. Do you have the opportunity to participate at some time in some rock festival in their country or outside of this? With which bands have shared scenario? The truth is that since we take out the disk we have not stopped of playing, we have made a tour for a heap of capitals and we are super happy. For us it was unthinkable when we begin that we will be playing in rooms so important as RazzMatazz or We Rock and overnight we were playing where before we will see so many musicians that we admired. Of course if I have to keep a band with which we have coincided I keep Ciclonautas; it is the project of Mai Medina, Javier Txo and Alen Ayerdi (of the one that I have already spoken before to you). there are I coincide with them several times, they are some incredible uncles and they also make one of the best concerts that can be seen at the moment in the national scene. Without place to doubts, Spain is a country that it doesn't stop to surprise me. Because every day they go arising new bands, that if, without forgetting to the big legends. How do they come the scene of the rock at the moment in Spain? Never were good times for the rock and now neither are it. It is very complicated to take out the head outside of the channels of massive diffusion and to allow you to see; the circuit of rooms is more and more short and with more limitations, the problems with the taxes to the culture, etc. But good we are positive people and I will also tell you that incredibly good music is making in Spain that there are some young musicians with a formation and with some brutal desires of making good songs and that while there is who listens to us there will be rock and roll in the scenarios. What opinion does it deserve them the role that it play the rock magazines (so much digital and printed) like form of promoting to the rock bands so much well-known as not very well-known? For us it is fundamental that there are channels that are in charge of of all that is not “mainstream ". you Have as yours or other means give us the visibility that allows us to contact with a public with desires of knowing new things and to the one that we cannot arrive in another way. Already neither I count you if above they are in places so far away as Cuba! Future plans?
Well, our plans are to continue making beautiful songs and to play them so that people can enjoy them. We will continue playing where they leave us and they want to listen to us and everything the rest will go arriving. Do you know Something about the rock that is made in Cuba? Of Cuba a lot of music arrives in Europe and in particular to Spain, I know that also as all sea port the influences and the novelties arrive first to the places where there is a great commercial and cultural traffic and Cuba is the best example in it. Recently I was visiting the island and listen bands and groups of all the imaginable styles: blue, reggae, hip-hop, electronic... not everything in Cuba is sauce and they are, but yes that remember a thing; I don't know that it has the music that is made in Cuba that you wrap it in a way or of another it continues emerging a sonority that is own and nonnegotiable of the Cubans If you have the opportunity to come to Cuba will you come? Of course!! Where is it necessary to sign!!?? Well, before finishing, something that you want to say to the Cuban public and all the followers of this magazine. Very good and greetings from this side of the puddle!!. I count you, when we decide to mount the band, already like serious project, (October 2008), we wanted to have a name of a single word and that it took implicit the concept of the musical thing and the letters that at the same time has several meanings and among a good handful of them, it arose RAW, and we liked.... When and where arise Crudo? Who are their actually member? From where they are? RAW it arises soon after a band of versions that VOLVONE was called. The last year you made your Third CD named “Heroes, Slaves and Traitors” (2015). How the process of edition and recording was? Some audiovisual material that accompanies the same one? Thematic that approach in the songs? We were always a band of direct, but with this new CD" H,EyT " wanted to give him a little a treatment more care when producing it, always being responsible to be able to take it to the direct one. In this we take care but the production individually, adding some intro, effects, musical epilogues and we believe that we guess right, since without playing the structure of none of the topics, we are able to make a very interesting disk and 100% in direct. In the previous works, we used to treat experiences in first person, always from a visceral point of view, but related with the feelings, however, in this disk, the whole abrupt Spanish social situation, makes us jag. It was unavoidable to reflect it in the letters, era almost our obligation, without being us a band especially would answer, the rage that produced us to see what was passing to our surroundings, abuses of power, repression, cuttings in social and labor fundamental rights, a completely unpunished corruption, etc, makes that letters like "Gamonal" are born, "Slaves", " Big mouths " or “I no longer Believe in anything", submerged in the rage and on the other hand topics like Anything to Change", don't Surrender or Heroes that contribute us hope in such a somber mark.

I believe that we make very heterogeneous Rock&Roll, we drank of many sources. In our sound you can find hard rock, heavy metal, punk rock, influences of the 70´s, 80´s 90´s, but at the end I believe that that makes it is Raw Rock ...jajajaja Which have the main influences of the group been when composing their songs? A single influence doesn't exist to compose. We usually look for transmission that you receive songs in the same way that we receive they that us car convinces that are the sufficiently demanding ones with the topics like so that what we sing and we play it convinces us to 100%, but it is impossible to transmit any message...... that is primordial! Have you the opportunity to participate at some time in some rock festival in their country or outside of this? With which bands have shared scenario? We had the luck to share scenario with Faith of Rats, Dixebra, The Drugs, Hardbone, the Soft ones, Desakato, Bad Reputation, and a good handful of bands.... For all it is known that to form a new rock band is always something difficult and complex. How do they remember the beginnings of Raw? Did you think of some moment that you won't triumph as band? It is the illusion, the passion and the trust those that make you advance, and to take out the project ahead, after all, always these beginning, the Rock&Roll bears a permanent learning. At the end you realize that the success is not another thing that to be in the own road... the objective is usually very diffuse Without place to doubts, Spain is a country that doesn't stop to surprise me, because every day they go arising new bands, that if, without forgetting to the big legends like Magician of Oz, Barricade, Angelus Stateless , Red Baron, among others. How do you see the scene of the rock at the moment in Spain? Very big, a very big, very wide scene and of many stick ..Pero very wrongly treated, the rock continues being minority and not well seen. As much as but cañero and but polemic worse seen and even criminalized, as for example DCD or Soziedad Alkoholika good ...pero, this would be already another topic to try. The supposed Spanish freedom of speech!!!

Roberto: When in 2010 we had to publish the first CD and we didn't have name for the band, we choose TETO because it is Roberto's diminutive, singer of the band. Without more‌ When and where arises the band? Who are their actually members? Where they are from? Roberto: Teto like such in 2010, with the exit of Retrasos del + akå. But behind Teto there are many years of musical trajectory as band and singular of each member of the band, Roberto's origin and Victor is very varied, since they are many years of experience in the world of the rock, Javier and David that are the youngest in the band, this it is for them his first serious project and to say the true, they carry out his work in a very professional way.
At the moment the formation is: Roberto Resino: Voice and guitar Víctor Varas: bass David Santurde: drummer Javier Alba: guitar To my hands arrived "Psicoafonias" the CD and allow me to tell them that it sounds brilliant. Víctor: On the previous works, they are the product of the logical evolution of a rock band that is wanted to make a hole in the panorama; we go of less to more as for the production of the songs, and in their thematic one, what already said Roberto, Two chords, and the truth" Which have the main influences of the group been when composing their songs? Roberto: The same life. Do you have the opportunity to participate at some time in some rock festival in their country or outside of this? With which bands have shared scenario? Víctor: Yes, in several occasions: we have also played as companies for bands with weight in the panorama national and international rocker as Red Baron or Leize among others.

Antagon is, in definitive, a disk notably influenced by the classic music, for the Gothic rock, and where there is, in smaller measure, some psicodelic rakes. More than a group of songs united by chance, this it is a demo that proposes a conceptual unit, a coherent musical journey that allows to feel, interact and to meditate. A varied repertoire as for sonority, but only as for sense. It is a manifestation of the soul, a projection of the interior world, a work that demonstrates the spirit of young dreamer that join with the purpose of making that that more they love: music. Another of my favorite ones is Something I Said, classic ballad designed with all the ingredients required to convince to the fans. The alone of guitar is simply beautiful. Of course that they don't lack the topics of potent air (Get Up, Get Ready), heavy riffs inside the authentic tradition (Make the Best of It), rock classic n´ roll (Devil Out of Time) or a half time that hardens their sound while the piece progresses (Critical). In conclusion, the album Revolution, of The Dead Daisies, is a very interesting CD and that one enjoys principle to end.
