The Enterprise shuttle was placed on a barge and pulled under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and through New York Harbor yesterday.
The retired space shuttle USS Enterprise made its trip from JFK Airport yesterday to a marina in the port of Elizabeth, N.J. On Tuesday, the shuttle will be moved again, traveling up the Hudson River before arriving at its permanent home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in Manhattan. It will be lifted by crane onto the flight deck of the aircraft carrier. METRO
