MAN SHOT IN PARIS TRUMP BLOCK OF TWITTER RUSSIA SCRAMBLES JET AFTER ATTACKING POLICE USERS VIOLATES RIGHTS TO INTERCEPT US BOMBER
1
A man armed with a hammer shouted “This is for Syria” before attacking police officers on Tuesday outside France’s Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, the interior minister said. The assailant wounded one officer before he was shot and wounded by other officers. The Paris prosecutor’s office swiftly began a counterterrorism investigation. Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said the attacker was carrying the
identification card of an Algerian student. He said preliminary information indicated the attacker had acted alone. Dozens of armed police sealed off the area and the cathedral in central Paris that is visited by millions of tourists every year was locked down while the security forces secured the area. REUTERS

A free-speech institute on Tuesday sent a letter to President Donald Trump demanding the prolific tweeter unblock certain Twitter users on grounds the practice violates the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Trump’s @realDonaldTrump account recently blocked a number of accounts that replied to his tweets with commentary that criticized, mocked or disagreed with his
actions. Twitter users are unable to see or respond to tweets from accounts that block them. The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University in New York said in its letter that the blocking suppressed speech in a public forum protected by the Constitution. The White House did not respond to a request for comment. Twitter Inc. said it had no comment. REUTERS

Russia scrambled a Sukhoi Su-27 fighter jet on Tuesday to intercept a U.S. B-52 strategic bomber which it said was flying close to its border over the Baltic Sea, Russia’s Defense Ministry said. Russian air defense systems detected the bomber at around 10 a.m. Moscow time as it was flying over neutral waters parallel to the Russian border, the ministry said in a statement.
“The Russian SU-27 crew, having approached at a safe distance, identified the aircraft as an American B-52 strategic bomber and escorted it” until such time as it changed course and flew away from the border area, the ministry said. Russia said the SU-27 had been scrambled from its Baltic Fleet air defense unit which is based in Kaliningrad. REUTERS

UBER FIRES 20 AFTER HARASSMENT PROBE

Uber Technologies Inc. told staff on Tuesday that it had fired 20 employees following an internal investigation into harassment and related claims by law firm Perkins Coie, a person familiar with the matter said. The law firm, which is investigating in parallel with a broader probe by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, investigated 215 harassment complaints going back as far as 2012, employees were told.
Uber told staff it had taken remedial action in 58 cases and decided no action was needed on 100 more. Other investigations are continuing, the person said. The company also told staff it would expand its employee relations unit to better investigate claims and that it would dramatically increase management training since most Uber managers were first-time bosses, the person said. Beating paranoia in the age of terrorism and the 24-hour news cycle Psychologist Dr. Steven Rosenberg talks about the effects of “terrorphobia.” ERIN TIERNAN @ErinTiernan
erin.tiernan@metro.us
Last August a panicked stampede sent bags flying as travelers fled after they heard there was an active shooter at New York City’s JFK Airport. In April, also in New York City, rush-hour commuters ran from Penn Station in fear for their lives after a Taser was mistaken for gunshots. Following the massacre at the Bataclan Theater in Paris in November 2015, a vigil erupted into a panic after someone set off firecrackers. And on Saturday, as a terror attack was ongoing that ultimately left seven dead in London, more than 1,400 people were injured in Turin, Italy, after a loud noise later determined to be fireworks sparked a stampede in a crowded city square. Each of these instances can be traced back to what Dr. Steven Rosenberg calls “terrorphobia.” “This is the type of fear where people fear going out to places because they see nightclubs getting blown up or shot up, people dying,” Rosenberg said. “Basically it’s the feeling that there’s going to be something happening when you go and attend something public, or it’s the waiting for some terrorist action to happen and watching the news constantly to monitor.” The prevalence of anxiety disorders is on the rise in the western world. Affecting 18 percent of the U.S. population, anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S. as well as in
Europe. Rosenberg said that can be traced back to the uncertainty of today’s world. Along with genetics, brain chemistry and personality, a major trigger for anxiety disorders is life events, according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Rosenberg said he believes overexposure to terrorist attacks in recent years directly correlates with the epidemic of panic and anxiety disorders. In 2017 alone there have been 535 terrorist attacks with 3,635 fatalities across the globe. The most recent and reported on attacks being the London Bridge and Borough Market, which claimed seven lives. One week before, 23 were killed when a suicide bomber attacked an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. “People see this, read about it, see it and then get themselves involved in it, look at it on their phones, watch it on television and get very, very fearful of it,” Rosenberg said. “It could happen anywhere, is their thought — while walking down their city street.” The fact that Americans are far more likely to die in a car crash than at the hands of a terrorist might not calm a terrorphobe’s mind, but Rosenberg said the best thing to do is to take a break from the news, maintain your usual routines and try to accept uncertainty in the world. “And you’ve got to be looking at the fact that fear is in many cases not real. The acronym for fear is ‘False Events Appear Real,’ because in your mind you think it’s going to happen in your own hometown — it’s not a real event, but it appears real when you begin talking about it and feeding into it,” he said.

If you’re diabetic, you probably have to prick yourself with a needle multiple times a day to test your blood sugar. But what if your skin could simply display that information for you? That’s the idea behind DermalAbyss, a project by Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School researchers. The goal is to create an “interactive display on the skin by tattooing with ink comprised of biosensors, which will change color when they detect certain chemicals. The idea has been spurred by the trend of “wearable technology, said Xin Liu, one of the authors and an MIT researcher — like smartwatches and FitBit trackers. “We were very interested in how the future of wearables could be integrated into the human body, instead of a tech garment you wear nowadays, she said.
The tattoos would inject biosensors into the skin, which would change color as they react with body uids. PROVIDED BY DERMAL ABYSS/MIT
The fact that a diabetic has to “literally stab themselves several times a day to test their blood sugar got the researchers wondering “whether the body itself could express the information, instead of us doing all the machine work, Liu said. Liu and her fellow researchers — Katia Vega, Viirg Kan and Nick Barry from MIT, and Ali Yetisen and Nan Jiang of Harvard Medical School — have developed four biosensors that react to the chemical information in bodily fluid and change colors depending on the results. Two of the biosensors

The others measure glucose, or blood sugar levels, and sodium levels, which can help us understand if we’re drinking enough water, Liu said. The researchers have paired with a tattoo artist to test the biosensors in tattoos on pig skin. In the future, the tattoo process itself may become more digital with a computer

controlling the amount of sensors injected into the skin and figuring out what patterns may be best as an “interface. The tattoos don’t have to be large or in a place that would be obvious to others, Liu said, so she sees this as an option for everyone. She acknowledges that the idea of “wearable technology implemented into your skin may make some people uncomfortable, though. “It’s super scary for the general public, she said. “The challenge is people seeing themselves having electronics inside their own body.

Harvard students who lost acceptance due to offensive memes part of common problem A handful of prospective freshman had their Harvard dreams dashed recently when the school withdrew their offers of admission, following news that the potential students had posted racist and sexist memes in a private Facebook chat. Though the move may have been unexpected for the students, experts say there’s a trend of individuals not realizing that their online actions could have such consequences. Dan Schawbel is a career and workplace expert at the consulting firm Millennial Branding. He says his mission is to “support my generation from student to CEO, but also acknowledged that it isn’t just millennials who face backlash for their online activities. “It actually doesn’t seem like anything new that I haven’t seen in the past 10 years, he said of the Harvard incident. “Things like this happened back then, they’re

Harvard “brand. Colleges have always had the right to rescind admission offers; Harvard even noted that right in the description of the official Harvard College Class of 2021 Facebook group. “As a reminder, Harvard College reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission under various conditions including if an admitted student engages in behavior that
brings into question his or her honesty, maturity, or moral character,â€? the description reads. Schawbel said that this specific case is getting attention simply because it happened at Harvard, a university known for its difficulty to get into. “The reality is that Harvard, in a sense, is a company ‌ and they don’t want to have people at their company or school that don’t reflect the brand and that could hurt their reputation,â€? he said. The risk of accepting students who would post such controversial things wasn’t worth it to the school, he said. Companies weigh these risks too, for applicants of all ages. “It’s everyone, there’s just more examples involving millennials because we’re part of a generation who are early adopters of technology, more likely to share and want instant gratification,â€? Schawbel said. KRISTIN TOUSSAINT

We need to talk about Lee from “The Bachelorette”
George considers “embarrassing dad” the role of a lifetime, probably.
George & Amal Clooney welcome twins, give them normal names George Clooney and his wife Amal welcomed twins early Tuesday morning, and can you even? The couple released a statement, saying “This morning [we] welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into [our] lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.” Ella and Alexander, you guys! Those are some classy names, if I do say so myself. The statement added that George is “sedated and should recover in a few days.” Damn, George. We get it. You’re the joker in the family. You’re preparing for the most rigorous role
of your life: embarrassing father. But could you have let Amal have the spotlight for like, a second? The couple has been married since September 2014, when they celebrated their typically gorgeous star-studded nuptials in Venice, Italy. Emily Blunt and Bono were there for some reason. Anyway, congratulations to the very attractive couple on what will surely be some very good-looking babies!
Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t know a dang thing about Goop Gwyneth Paltrow went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to admit what we all kind of expected: She doesn’t know a dang thing about her lifestyle website, Goop. Despite claiming that the website is her fulltime job, and that’s she’s in the office all day, every day, the 44-year-old doesn’t know much about the articles printed in the wellness section. When asked about earthing — yeah, your guess is as good as mine — Paltrow basically gives a nonLooks like we’re all in the same boat. answer
Last night’s episode of “The Bachelorette” had its bright spots — looking at you, Hot Alex — and some rather dull ones — oh Fred, honey, no. But beyond all that, we need to talk about s—t-stirring Lee Garrett, who both appears to be this season’s villain, but also? The actual worst as far as real-life humans go. After stirring the pot with Iggy and Eric, Lee says to the camera with a smile, “This is the s—t talking night, and it’s fun.” There is a wet gleam of pure insanity in his eyes, and it’s pretty unpleasant to look at. But also? Last week some old tweets of Lee’s popped up, and turns out he’s even worse than you imagined. The posts, which have since been deleted, are racist, sexist and offensive to the LGBT community. I mean, in one he literally asks “What’s the difference between NAACP and the KKK? Wait for it… One has the sense of shame to cover their racist a— faces.” Charming! I know there needs to be some sort of villainous-sea-witch type. But does he have to be so awful?

So, earthing—I don’t actually know that much about earthing. … They say that we lost touch with sort of being barefoot in the earth, and there’s some sort of electromagnetic thing that we’re missing.” But then — oh, but then. She eventually lets out a cackle and says, literally, “I don’t know what the f—k we talk about!” Gwyneth Paltrow: good at her job and as relatable as ever.

After dealing with the very predictable backlash of the post, Barstool Sports’ founder David Portnoy took down the article and suspended Sprags indefinitely. But in a statement, he said he only did it because Sprag’s post wasn’t funny enough. Ugh. Anyway, Rihanna took to her Instagram to post the greatest meme of our time. She also showed up to Miami on Tuesday to shoot a music video shamelessly showing off her figure. Her pants? Skin tight, and also doubling as boots. Her top? “Wonder Womanâ€? manages to ferry plenty of feminist thought into the summer-movie landscape. Huston loves stu like that — the idea of popular art sneaking in brutally honest messages. Recently he found himself ďŹ nding depth in, of all things, ABBA. “I resisted them my entire life. And you know what? It’s not that bad! It’s actually pretty damn good!â€? he says. He cites “Waterlooâ€? as the song that turned him. “It’s this happy song about hundreds of soldiers dying on the battleďŹ eld. Once I stopped judging it at face value, suddenly it opened up a dierent meaning. “That’s what’s so clever about pop: You popularize something and, in actual fact, the message you’re giving can be actually quite subversive.â€?
Danny Huston on ‘Wonder Woman,’ comic books and ABBA The actor loves when popular art is subversive, including his new superhero movie. MATT PRIGGE @mattprigge

Danny Huston may not be a comic-book nerd, but he gets it. He gets that the movies spawned from them — including “Wonder Woman, in which he plays World War I German General Erich Ludendorff, one of the main villains —
aren’t mere escapism. “It’s easy to dismiss them, but there’s a real truth in their essence, Huston tells us. “You think they’re feel-good films for kids and teenagers, but actually the underlying message can be quite dark in examining the human condition. During our chat, Huston — a go-to character actor, seen in “Birth, “The Constant Gardener, “Robin Hood and twice on “American Horror Story — regularly compares comics to Greek mythology. Sure enough, the film wrestles with ideas as big as they come,
namely war and peace. “The message is simple — one could even think of it as being naive. But it’s absolutely truthful. It’s about how love conquers all, Huston says. It makes sense for Huston to speak of “Wonder Woman not as a comic book movie but in classical terms. After all, he’s Hollywood royalty. His father is John Huston, the legendary filmmaker of “The Maltese Falcon and “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. His half-sister
is Anjelica Huston. His nephew Jack starred in last year’s redo of “BenHur. Though his father is one of Classic Hollywood’s manliest men, Huston didn’t come up to think in macho terms. “I’m lucky to be surrounded by strong women, he says. “My sister Anjelica has been an angel all my life. My mother, though she’s quite petite, is powerful and strong. As is my daughter. That makes him an ideal fit for “Wonder

drinks to keep the party going all day long. Here’s a few suggestions for where to fuel up. Kick off in style Grab a bite before the party begins at noon on Boylston and Clarendon. Brunch at Abe & Louie’s (739 Boylston St.) starts at 11 a.m., so prep with blueberry pancakes ($12) and a boatload of coffee. You can also snag a prime spot on the terrace at Bar Boulud (776 Boylston St.) in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which will be open during the festivities. Try something from their spring cocktail menu, like the Summerland, a combo of Death’s Door Gin, Maraschino liqueur and thyme ($17). South End celebrations After its Back Bay beginning, the parade heads to the South End down Clarendon, with plenty of hot spots nearby. Stop by Coda (329 Columbus Ave.) for a Taste the Rainbow, featuring Skittlesinfused vodka, Combier and fresh lemon juice ($10). The Trophy Room (26 Chandler St.) is right
off Berkeley, so grab a barstool by the giant open windows in the front. Also on that Back Bay/South End line is Back Bay Harry’s (142 Berkeley St.) where you can enjoy the revelry from the outdoor patio. Try the Candy is Dandy but Liquor is Quicker, a boozy chocolate milkshake with rainbow sprinkles. Keep the party going Heading back to Boylston, the floats swing by the Public Garden. Just a few blocks away is the W Hotel (100 Stuart St.), where Pride is in full swing with its Pride Pink Lemonade. The fun then turns up Beacon and heads to Government Center, so stop into the Kinsale Irish Pub & Restaurant (2 Center Plaza) for beers and burgers, or hoof it over to the Boston Public Market (100 Hanover St.), where you can munch on sandwiches from Bon Me or treats from Union Square Donuts. Keep the party going with Hopsters Alley, who’s got you covered with plenty of adult beverages on hand.

How you can live in a superyacht hotel in Boston Have a luxury experience at the Charlestown Marina. CATHERINE PERLOFF @MetroBOS letters@metro.us
Looking for a luxury coastal escape without leaving the Bay State? Experience the superyacht lifestyle for a night (or more) on the newly updated Troca One, a 108-foot Viking Sports Cruiser manufactured in Italy, docked at the Charlestown Marina along the Boston Harbor. The pop-up hotel-yacht begins operations on June 11 and is the newest offering from Troca Hotels. The boutique hotel company also operates The Daniel in Brunswick, Maine, as well as The Stonehedge Hotel & Spa in Tyngsboro. Starting at $849 a night, guests can book a full luxury experience in the VIP Stateroom, which is equipped with a kingsized bed, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV and a wine chiller. For an extra $100, you can stay in the Master Stateroom, which features the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath. Rooms can be booked through both Troca’s website as well as Airbnb.
All guests are treated to champagne on arrival, as well as an espresso machine and a continental breakfast. Upon request, Troca One patrons can book a three-course fine dining experience with NoLo Bistro & Bar executive chef Mark Filteau at the price tag of $180 per person. Those wishing to get a true taste of the rich and famous lifestyle can rent out the entire yacht and host up to eight friends for around $4,000 a night. Guests can take their party on a sunset cruise around the harbor for around $9,000. While these prices may seem hefty, Troca Hotels senior vice president James Foster sees the hotel-yacht as a more accessible alternative to those who want the yacht experience, but do not want to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars for a weeklong rental, or a few million to own a private cruiser. “This is almost democratizing luxury,” he says, noting the cost of booking a room on Troca One is about equivalent or even less than a suite at a luxury Boston hotel. “It’s going to be a unique ex-
perience and it’s going to be a real peek behind the curtains of the superyacht lifestyle.” Foster adds that the concept is a new experience that “doesn’t seem to have been done before.” “There’s nothing in that superyacht class,” he says. “We think it’s a way of adding luxury hotel rooms to a market that needs luxury hotel rooms.” The Troca One experience comes with a unique Boston flavor. Situated in the historic Charlestown neighborhood, guests can check out famous historical landmarks like the USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Memorial, Navy Yard and Paul Revere Park. Patrons will also get a nice view of Boston, as the yacht faces the city’s skyline. The yacht will only be available in Boston until October before the Troca One sails to the warm shores of Miami for November through April. If you can’t wait to hit the high seas, you better make reservations soon, as rooms are already being booked up well in advance of the June 11 launch.

In a city full of high-rise luxury condominiums, it’s hard to find classic two-story homes where you can still enjoy all that the city has to offer. Although it was built in 1984, the property at 1564 Massachusetts Ave. stands out in its Harvard Square neighborhood. Featuring yellow clapboards and green shutters, the home is an undeniable slice of old world charm in Cambridge. An attached single family, it boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms in 2,266 square feet. The upstairs master suite features a wood-burning fireplace and a walk-in closet and,

Harvard Crimson, was 153 years old when it was torn down in 1984. The historic site’s demolition brought a bit of drama, as the developer of the current property at
1564 Massachusetts Ave. fought with the Historical Commission and city regulations for years before building. He originally even tried to maintain some of the Francis Allyn House’s Greek Revival facade during construction, but it failed to meet certain wind pressure tolerance codes, and so the entire structure was razed. Despite the loss of a historic home, many locals at the time found the drawn out legal battle to be a waste of taxpayer money. Condos rapidly sprung up throughout the city in the ’80s, and the area still remains one of the country’s most expensive neighborhoods. Listed at just under $2 million, the property offers easy access to Harvard University, Cambridge Commons, all of the shops and restaurants Harvard Square has to offer, plus the Red Line.

“Me and Isaiah Thomas would be a great backcourt.” Markelle Fultz, on potentially landing with the Celtics
Markelle Fultz is likely to be selected No. 1 overall in this month’s NBA draft by the Celtics. GETTY IMAGES
Boston’s next great sports star?
Markelle Fultz could very well be the man to lead the Celtics to Banner 18. MATT BURKE @burke_metro
matthew.burke@metro.us
We’re in the midst of the 2017 NBA Finals, and all you read and hear about is how the Warriors and Cavaliers are going to meet in the league’s championship round from now through eternity. The two teams may very well close out this decade meeting every year, but if one team is positioned to upset the annual clash of the superteams it’s the Boston Celtics. Leading the charge for the Celtics when it’s finally time to seriously
compete for the league title again will likely be Markelle Fultz. It seems nearly a lock that the Celtics will tab the Washington guard with the No. 1 overall pick. There is a very good chance that Fultz (what’s a good nickname? Fultz-y? Main Event Markelle?) is the next great Boston athlete. So, who — exactly — is this guy? Here’s a glance.
His game It’s truly hard to find much of a weakness in Fultz’s game. He’s 6-foot-5 on a good day, which means he could potentially play alongside tiny Isaiah Thomas. Fultz has a ridiculous 6-foot-10 wingspan and has massive hands. His herky-jerky style has drawn comparisons to James Harden, and
Fultz is a terrific finisher — surprising many with his athleticism at the rim. He also owns an exceptional pull-up jumper and is dynamic in transition, offensively. Here is what DraftExpress.com had to say about the Washington freshman: “Fultz is a tantalizingly gifted shot-creator, sporting an extraordinary combination of body control, ballhandling, footwork and pace. He changes speeds, directions and uses both hands innately, spinning off opponents, splitting ball-screens frequently, and finishing with Eurosteps. He combines his ability to get wherever he wants on the floor with outstanding shot-making prowess off the dribble, making 42 percent of his pull-up jumpers on the
season. “As good as Fultz is on the ball, he also has significant potential operating alongside
another ball-handler with his excellent size, length and frame, giving his future NBA coach plenty of lineup flexibility.”
schedule at the start of the season. Elite current players like Harden, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry all got their teams to the NCAA tournament. Fultz couldn’t even get the Huskies to doubledigit wins. DraftExpress also questions the 19-yearold’s defensive toughness but says he “has the tools to be very effective” on the defensive end. The website also points out that he has a “very casual approach to the game … and it makes him look like he’s operating at half speed at times.”
Any downside?
Character
In Fultz’ only collegiate season, his team went a putrid 9-22 — which is truly hard to do for a major program given all the typical cupcakes teams
Fultz has said all the right things since the Celtics landed the No. 1 pick. He seems legit excited about potentially playing alongside Thomas — who also

played at the University of Washington. “Me and Isaiah Thomas would be a great backcourt,” Fultz told CSNNE. “I think the opportunity that would be there would be amazing, just for him to play off the ball, where I think he’s better at it, or him to play on the ball and I can play off the ball. I think the chemistry would be amazing.” Endearing himself to Celtics fans, Fultz posted a Vine titled, “Shut up LeBron!” in 2013. In the video, Fultz called out James’ receding hairline in a spot-on Chris Rock voice. “Man, shut up LeBron! Can’t even see your hairline, fool! You goin’ bald in the next 24 hours. The next game you gonna be bald! Shut up!”

USMNT with some serious work to do The U.S. men’s soccer team needs to take care of business in the next few days. RICH SLATE @RichSlate
sports@metro.us
With the Stanley Cup Final and NBA Finals in full gear, it won’t be long before more focus turns to soccer both stateside with MLS and abroad this summer. After all, we are only a year away from the 2018 World Cup in Russia, which the US men’s national team (1-1-2, 4th in their CONCACAF World Cup qualifying group) may or may not be a part of. Under new/old head coach Bruce Arena, the
team reconvened for training camp last week in Colorado before their friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium (home of Real Salt Lake in MLS) in Utah last Saturday vs. Venezuela. The Americans settled for a somewhat disappointing 1-1 draw against an opponent that they should be expected to beat on most occasions, especially at home. Save for the beautiful tying goal by U.S. midfielder Christian Pulisic in the 61st minute, it was a pretty forgettable encounter. As usual, the U.S. struggled on set pieces as Venezuela scored its lone goal off a corner kick in the 29th minute. There was logic behind the choice to practice in Denver, then play in Utah since the U.S. needed to get acclimated to the
Yedlin on defense, Brooks, Pulisic, Darlington Nagbe and Michael Bradley in the midfield with Clint Dempsey and Bobby Wood at forward. For substitutes, Omar Gonzalez, Matt Hedges, Tim Ream, Kellyn Acosta, Jordan Morris and Graham Zusi all entered in the second half for the U.S.

it goes to famed Azteca Stadium on Sunday (8:30 p.m., FS1) to play archrival Mexico (3-1-0). The Americans need results, preferably a win against Trinidad & Tobago while a draw in Mexico would be a fine accomplishment. John Anthony Brooks (who just secured the highest transfer fee ever for an American player in Europe, going from Hertha Berlin (GER) to Wolfsburg) left early
vs. Venezuela with a hamstring injury but he was back at training on Monday, which is a good sign. Jozy Altidore wasn’t there (at his brother’s wedding) but for the most part, Arena fielded what is likely to be a similar lineup to what he rolls out on Thursday and Sunday (barring cards and injuries): Tim Howard in goal, Jorge Villafana, Fabian Johnson, Geoff Cameron and DeAndre
They are only friendlies but the U.S. women’s national team will meet two of its biggest rivals this week as well as they are in Sweden on Thursday afternoon (1:30, ESPN2) and then Norway on Sunday afternoon (1, FOX). Their World Cup is two years away but they will be getting set for the 2017 Tournament of Nations which they host on the West Coast at the end of July and into early August. The USWNT gets some big-time matches there against some of the other top competition in the world: Australia, Brazil and Japan.
