Frontier City’s Inaugural Holiday in the Park Though Jan. 6
Frontier City’s western town has transformed into a winter wonderland with more than one million lights, cheery culinary items including s’mores roasted over real fire pits, festive shows and Santa, Mrs. Claus and other roaming characters straight from the North Pole. Many of the park’s rides, including the coasters, Kiddieland rides and more, have been all decked out for the holidays. Festivities are included with regular admission or with a season pass.
Edmond Electric’s Luminance Through Dec. 31
Luminance is a new walk-thru holiday light display, open to the public at Mitch Park during the month of December. Families can stroll through 20 interactive 3D LED displays including a 25-foot walk-thru light tunnel and lighted trees and pavilions. Make it a full evening of fun with a spin around the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink or hop aboard The Christmas Express.
All Aboard! Family Night at Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art Dec. 13
Trains are taking over the museum! In conjunction with the Ticket to Ride art exhibition, families can enjoy a night of cheer including the lighting of a commissioned model train recreation of Route 66, banjo players, art activities, a hot cocoa and cookie bar and the chance to meet Santa. This familyfriendly event starts at 6 p.m., and the train lighting ceremony starts at 7 p.m. The train display will remain at the museum through Dec. 30.
It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Thursday - Sunday through Dec. 23
Step back in time with the Pollard Theatre and a small ensemble cast as they bring the beloved

Christmas classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” to the stage as a 1940s-style radio broadcast. Follow along as actors trace the story of George Bailey’s fateful Christmas Eve. Best suited for ages 8 and up.
Holly Jolly Shops at the Brick Dec. 8 & 9
This brand new event features 50 pop-up shops with handcrafted items and unique gifts from local and regional vendors. The ballpark will feature festive decorations and concessions will be open for holiday shoppers. There will even be reindeer on-site part of Saturday and all day Sunday. Shops will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Illuminations inside the Crystal Bridge Conservatory Tuesday through Sunday until Jan. 10
Oklahomans are accustomed to the warmth and beauty inside the city’s iconic Crystal Bridge. For many decades, the holidays usher in bustling festivities at the Gardens. But this year, with the help of professional designers and the latest lighting technology, a brand new indoor holiday light display aims to go beyond strings of lights to create an experience not typically seen in the Sooner state, the captivating Northern Lights.
Devon’s Saturdays with Santa Dec. 1 & 8
The annual family favorite is changing things up a little this year. Instead of the typical three-week schedule, Devon’s Saturdays with Santa will be hosted on the first two Saturdays in December. Organizers have extended the event’s hours. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., families can enjoy all their favorite activities including crafts, train rides and more. All activities are free and open to the public and visits with Santa are available on a first-come, firstserved basis.
