Delta Sizer Air Classifier

Energy Efficient Specifically designed to separate, accurately, dry powders of mixed particle size within the 5 to 200 micron range into distinct fractions at high extraction efficiency and low power consumption on a continuous basis. These classifiers handle feed rates from 0.1 to 25 tons per hour depending upon the desired cut point and material density. The robust design reflects the importance placed on continuous, reliable operation under arduous conditions. This classifier can be integrated into conventional closed or open dry grinding circuit; or utilized in a classification only system complete with cyclone, fan, dust collector and rotary air locks.
Produces Nib Free Product The upward airflow and the turbulence around the rotor ensures excellent dispersion of the feed. Aerodynamic drag pulls the fine particles through the rotor, while the centrifugal force rejects the oversize materials. Secondary classification takes place as the oversize material falls through the uprising air-stream in the conical middle casing section, liberating any fines that adhere to the oversized particles. An air swept seal is maintained between the rotor base and the top of the outlet duct, drawing air from the atmosphere through tubes connecting the outer casing to the duct flange. This prevents material from by-passing the rotor and ensures a nib-free fine product.
Lower Maintenance Costs
Proven Experience
Classifier design allows for easy access for inspection and maintenance of the rotor. The classifier rotor can be removed without dismantling the feed equipment. This lowers maintenance costs.
