TITANX INNOVATIVE REFRIGERANT MODULES FOR TRACTOR-TRAILERS

TitanX is a specialized company in the manufacturing of refrigerant modules for tractor-trailers, such as condensers and radiators for Freightliner, Daimler Trucks' flagship brand.

The company came to Coahuila in 2014; however, operations began in 2015 and has since then stood out as one of the most competitive companies in the region.

Krzysztof Cuber, Ramos Arizpe plant manager, stated that the brand's added value consists of offering its customers the highest quality products.

The company is currently active in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Sweden and Poland, and one of its main features is its excellent customer service, given that it supplies these markets as well as the Mexican market through its plant in Coahuila.

Coahuila is a strategic spot for their operations due to its highly trained personnel and industrial development. It also allows the company to be close to the Daimler plant, its main client, located in Derramadero, Coahuila, to which 60% of its production volume is destined.

Cuber pointed out that TitanX has expansion plans in the state, as it seeks to increase its production capacity. Currently, the company manufactures 7,000 refrigerant modules per month and in addition they also produce between 3,000 and 4,000 parts for use as spare parts.

With further expansion, they will increase their production lines by 30% as well as their product catalog; in addition, they could expand their industrial building by another 10,000 square meters, besides the current 13,000 square meters.

The company is in the process of digitizing its workstations, as it has not yet fully implemented Industry 4.0 tools.

Furthermore, it holds IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications. The production process consists of transforming the raw material from aluminum coils, from which they shape the tubes that are later assembled with other components to be exposed to a heat of 1,000 degrees and then start the assembly of the refrigerant modules.

The factory has several production areas, such as aluminum forming, brazing, micro-wire welding and assembly.

Their work philosophy consists of following the values of integrity, working with passion, commitment and agility for excellence in order to achieve total quality.

This working ideology has helped them to achieve the results that have been established by the brand, since the Ramos Arizpe plant is one of the most prominent of the corporation and the plans for growth seek to support the production levels of the Jamestown, New York, complex.
