INTRODUCTION Land price in Yogyakarta is increasing year by year. After Bali and Jakarta, land price in Yogyakarta is the third most expensive in Indonesia. Average land price in Sleman and Yogyakarta is 5 Million Rupiah (376.8 USD) and increasing 3% every month. This increase of land price affects property selling price. House has become an unaffordable needs compared to the Regional Minimum Wage in Yogyakarta, which is around 1.5 Million Rupiah (113 USD). This phenomenon makes Fresh graduates and young couples having difficulty on having their own house. They are forced to stay in boarding rooms, rented houses, or installment houses with high interest.Tiny House is a compact house that is suitable for young couples, fresh graduates with regional minimum wage, refugees, or they who want to start anew with a low budget. Tiny House requires only 20 square meters of land, which can be obtained by purchase or rental system. These designs provide a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a space to start a small home business. With Regional Minimum Wage owner can get the ownership of Tiny House with an equivalent price of renting someone else’s house. The design uses simple materials and construction, so it is easily built everywhere. The modular parts of tiny house can be moved or expanded by owner as needed. Without any Down Payment and minimum budget, we can build our own house or shelters to help everyone in need. This Tiny House series of books contains two stories house designs in 20 square meters area. Book One and Two offer various designs from 23 architects. Book Three and Four present alternative designs from selected design from previous books. And the final book is a Manual to build your own Tiny House.

SUPERVISOR NOTES This house is designed with an affordable price and easy to build in a short period of time.

This house is designed with large windows that improve the electrical sustainability to reduce man made lighting and improve thermal comfort.

The roof structure is lightweight and simple to build that could make construction process easier.

SUPERVISOR NOTES This house uses light weight steel as its main construction. With a building area of 14 square meter, this house uses GRC Board as its building envelope. The roof uses galvalum. All materials are connected with bolt and nut.

This design is more attractive than previous design. Because the number of openings in the window in each room. The price of this design is more affordable than previous design. Because this design used less GRC than the previous design.

In this design, wall structure and lightweight steel structure still need to be researched. The price of the material and the place of material purchase less informative.

This L lettered tiny house is constructed mostly using lightweight steel and GRC boards. With only 20 square meters area, this house can provide comfortable home and work area. There is 2x2 meters land on the front of the house. It is targeted to provide space for juice stands or something similar.

SUPERVISOR NOTES The structures, especially the connections of the lightweight steels, are questionable. It needs serious attention to connect each steel, because it is structural, it has to be fixed and firm.

The reason why the house is letter L shaped is because it gives some privacy to the users. It also prevents the house on facing the road directly.

When drawing the elevations, it must show how the wall is applied, the shadows, the textures, the modules of the GRC boards, and wall/door frames. It also has to show the heights of the house.

Some images are a little dark. Which will cause the dark side become hidden when the book is printed.

SUPERVISOR NOTES The material for the main structure is C-profile light weight steel. Roof structure also uses C-profile light weight steel and omega light weight steel which will be covered by UPVC. GRC board will be used for wall coverings, while damar wood for flooring. Every part is connected using screws.

The connection between light weight steel structure and wall coverings needs to be fully understood. The price and shops to buy the materials are less informative.

SUPERVISOR NOTES This house using GRC as the wall to prevent sun radiation entering the house.

Big window in the front side of the house used to make the owner easily open a business in their house by making the house more accessible and easy to identified by the owner costumer, wheter they sell something or selling a service like tailor, laundry, etc.

The Construction of this house using modular wood structure that make this house portable because it is built per modul and could be transported to the other place.

SUPERVISOR NOTES The cantilever is too risk, it’s need more construction to build. The asbes of the cantilever should be constructed with a bracing to hold them in every part. The windows are too opened, its more screening to give an effect and defuse the glare.
