BLACK ARTISTS MATTER: GROUP EXHIBITION FEATURING LOCAL BLACK ARTISTS AND ART FROM LYNCHBURG BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTESTS JUNE 19, 2020 | 5PM - 8PM | HARRINGTON GALLERY BUILDING To continue the Juneteenth celebrations, the Academy Center of the Arts will open our Harrington Gallery Building to the public for viewings of our June gallery show, entitled "Black Artists Matter" from 5PM - 8PM EST. "Black Artists Matter" will feature a group exhibition of local Black artists in the Ann White Academy Gallery, with art from the Lynchburg Black Lives Matter protests in the Up Front Gallery. This show is open to the public, and will follow all health & safety measures for reopening, as outlined in our Venue Reopening Health & Safety Guidelines. To attend and view this exhibition, guests must reserve a free 'ticket' to gain entry. Up to 20 guests will be admitted into the building every 30 minutes for viewing, and will be asked to adhere to social distancing measures as well as a health screening prior to entry. Ticket r
