Musical Pathway

FELLOWSHIP

For Black and Latinx musicians entering grades 5-12

Musical Pathway Fellowship Are you a Black or Latinx musician interested in pursuing your craft? Develop your musical skills through the Musical Pathway Fellowship (MPF), a full-scholarship program for students entering grades 5-12. MPF provides ongoing, multi-year support to students, including comprehensive music instruction through high school, preparing students to enter a conservatory or university music program upon graduation. Areas of study include all string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, as well as piano, voice, classical guitar, harp and composition.

…MPF is not only a program, [it’s also a] family. I love seeing my friends and teachers each time I walk through the doors of CIM. The things that I am learning and experience I am gaining is helping me to reach my goal in becoming a successful musician.
